Laazar Straight Pet Scissors, 6.5" Shear Grooming Scissor

I just "inherited" two long-haired cats from a family member. We've always had short-haired cats, so it was a challenge dealing with grooming issues. I bought these scissors and they work great. I like that the end of the blades are dulled so I don't accidentally puncture the skin while trying to cut out some of the mats. They're sharp enough to cut through all but the thickest mats. I'm very happy with them.

They cut ok but not as razor sharp as I was hoping for. When I tried to clip a chunk of fur that was too thick, they didn't cut, but just bent/smushed the fur over in one chunk. So they do cut but I had to make sure to cut small, thin sections of fur. Probably not good for a rough pre-groom when you're scissoring to remove the initial bulk.

Just groomed the dog today and they worked really well, felt safe when using them around the face, easy!

For the price these are good shears, I gave it 3 stars bc they are not as sharp as I hoped they would be, but they are definitely doable, and will get the job done.

This product is perfect. I have 5 fur babies and it cuts perfectly. I would highly recommend this pair of Scissors. In fact I ordered 2 just so I would have a back up pair in case I misplaced one. Professional grade. Light weight but very sharp.

Not quite as sharp at the end/tip as I would have liked. However, definitely sturdy and strong!

these are very nice to use, very sharp and I hope they stay that way, good weight for prolonged use only problem for me is the finger holes are a bit large and they keep sliding up my fingers so I have to stop and get them back in place but I am still enjoying using them.
