This is a quality book set! Dr. Seuss was given as a gift along with another Dr. Seuss set and the Curious George book set....PERFECT baby gift! I absolutely love gifting books to people and found this set along with two others to be exactly what I was looking for, The hardcovers are what I grew up with and still have to this day! My 2.5 year old has been asking to learn to read and after much research, I thought the two Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collections would be a good place to start. Especially this one, with the ABC book, since he has to recognize all his letters before he can start sounding out words. We've been reading it every night for a week and he is already reciting his ABC's and able to announce which letter comes next before he sees it. Additionally, the books hold his attention, I enjoy reading them too, and the interesting mix of words, rhymes and odd stories seem like a great way to keep kids engaged. Neither of us have any issues with the quality of the books or thickness of the paper. Their the standard size, hardback versions and I'm very happy. Plus, what a great value!

I love Dr Seuss and remember the good old days when I these books though me how to read. Great idea to buy them as now my son loves them! Very good price and books in great condition, but remember - they migh be comming from USA so be prepared to wait up to 2 weeks time for delivery although I think I waited less than a week. Would recommend to schools and all parents as a very good deal compared to the rest on the market.
