Residential Steel Framing Handbook

As a DIYer I used this book as a guide when building a shed with structural steel studs. I learnt a lot from this book,At times the author does come across as a metal framing salesman, pitching the virtues of steel again and again.

I study a building.Therefore this book is very good.

A very technical book. More for a engineering or a architect background than a tradesman. It does have a lot of detail diagrams which are helpful for tradesmen that are new to framing with metal studs. I did not like this book as much as Steel Frame House Construction, another book I purchased at the same time.

So far awesome will extend after done reading

Great for the home builder or for remodeling jobs. We bought this book for help in finishing our basement. Detailed and easy to understand.

I like the book, it tells me what I wanted to know. Would buy it again if it gets lost.
