Top 50 Praise & Worship: Easy Piano

These are older, simpler worship songs and I love that! They are songs that connect me with Jesus and there is so much beauty in some of the older songs. The arrangements are really good or at least I think so. There are some that are quite lovely and I enjoy playing them simply because of that. I have several of these kind of books and this is absolutely my favorite. The key changes are done wonderfully well and are easy to follow. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to play worship songs but have the skill only to do simpler arrangements.

I love this easy to read book with all my favorite praise and worship songs. I'm teaching myself to olay the piano and Each page is filled with tricks and tips to perfect the song. Quality of paper and cover is good. The only thing is wish could have been different is to have it spiral bound for easier placement on the keyboard and page turning. But good product overall.

This book of music is great for pianists who are at least a level of reading music, all notes and rhythms. Nice to sing along with or to accompany others who are singing.

Nine out of duplicates from Top 50 Christian Hits and The Giant Book of Christian Sheet Music - that's 9 out of 50 found in the other two books. Songs are written either in the Key of C, G, or F. Most of the bass notes are very simple - one or two notes. The songs are either 3-5 pages long and with the way the books are bounds it is difficult to turn the pages and then have the pages stay open. Perhaps with wear this would be less difficult but I am concerned about how well he the binding will hold up. I am glad to see that the lyrics are included with each song and the print is large enough to make it easy to read. I would say these books are more for an intermediate in that the bass notes may not line up with the corresponding treble notes. In another words, the left hand may be playing a different rhythm than the right.. Thankfully, the melody is found in the treble cleff and not on a vocalist line which is found in many other songbooks. Chords designations are also listed for guitar or can used to supplement the left hand. I am also thankful for these books being available and work done by Carol Tornquist in arranging these songs.

Nice book to start learning the church songs before going on to a more complicated book.

This is a must-have for music ministry. My 8 years old has played the entire book for his online Sunday school during pandemic. The arrangement is not hard, yet sounds beautiful. Students above level 4 should find it pretty manageable. We like the book so much that I purchased another copy for church and recommended it to other parents. I strongly recommend the book 👍👍

I liked this collection of contemporary Christian songs. The difficulty level was just right...I would say that you'd need to have about 1 year's worth of piano lessons to start some of the easier songs in the book. It does have a range of including slightly more complex (but still playable) songs, which is great as you progress in skill. The arrangements are interesting (not one-dimensional) even though they are easier. Also, I liked the size of the print...easy to read.

I like this book so much because it includes current Christian songs that are quickly prepared. I recommended it to one of my piano students.

This is my new favorite piano book! The pieces are accessible, devotional, and lovely. This is a book that you can sightread from instead of needing to sit and practice for hours. It provides a devotional piano experience, and the simpler pieces can easily be embellished by the pianist -- it's much easier to add flourishes to music than to subtract them from it. This is now my go-to book for communion music, and it's wonderful for praise and worship as well. My only qualm with this book is that it needs a lot of bending to stay open on the piano. A spiral-bound version would have been much more practical.

Worth getting. Easy to play.

Great easy arrangements that focus on more melody than harmony (though tunes vary). Would highly recommend if you can read up to late beginner stage.
