Hematite Rosary is exactly as described. It is a beautifully designed and substantial rosary. I would have preferred the metal crucifix, metal beads and centerpiece to be made of stainless steel (because of stainless steel's durability), but it seems to be holding up for now. However, I am pleased with the workmanship of this rosary...it is quite excellent. The Hematite beads are cool to the touch and weighty, and as such, are tactily pleasing. It may be a bit heavy if worn around the neck, but I didn't buy it for that purpose. I usually just hold it while praying or even when I need comfort. The rosary reminds me of God's endless love for me and that He presence is always with me. Highly recommend this rosary. Hope this helps.

Very sturdy and heavy duty! When our Priest blessed it, he even commented on how heavy it was! Great for my husband’s big hands because he struggles with normal size beaded rosaries because they are so small. Long enough to wear around your neck if you choose! It is not coming apart after months of use!! Highly recommend for every Catholic man in your life!

I love this rosary as the beads are very beautiful and I love the heavy duty/weight of it. I would love to give it a 5, but one of the decades only has 9 beads instead of 10 as you can see in the picture. It is not that big of a deal as it is the first or last decade, but I need to count the decade first to see if it is the short one or not.

EXCELLENT quality. Heavier than I expected. If pride wasn't a sin I'd still have some for this rosary and I anonymously gave the second one to the church to give whoever needed one.

I purchased this as a gift to give to a cancer patient. It’s weight is substantial and made it perfect to give a “strong rosary” for the purpose of helping get through a difficult battle.
