Q: How sturdy are the bands as compared to actual springs? Why did you buy one with bands instead of the springs? Can anyone answer?

This is our 3rd one. Our 1st was with springs and it was crap. It lasted no time with a 5 year old. Then we got the straps and the first one last a few years with our young son, when he got older and most of the straps broke, we got a 2nd one. This lasted 6 months of COIVID shelter in place. My son is tall and jumps hard. BUT here is the great news, you can replace the black trampoline part for 15 dollars plus ship[ping. Just call STAMINA products. We bought 2 so we would not have to order again in 6 months. The silver cover is crap and we never use it because it breaks in a week. We cover the screw bit with packing foam and duct tap. My son can jump hard and will not hit his feet on the screws. This is a great product for kids & even better now that I can replace the black trampoline part for 15 bucks!

Q: Can this trampoline be assembled by one person or does it require two people?

Printed instructions clearly state repeatedly "always use two or more strong people to unfold or fold" and warn that failure to do so "can cause serious bodily injury or death." That said, I was able to open it without trouble standing on one side and pushed the other half down. (5'8" 45-year old female of about 150lbs and average fitness level) However, I should have waited for help, I was just so excited to try it. One of the pins was not in the correct position, and it got stuck in the joint. Can't fix that and now, can't close it at all. Definitely READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and it's probably worthwhile to have another person help to eliminate the possibility of injury.

Q: Is the support bar adjustable lower?

The Foam covered handlebar adjusts from 38.25" to 48" in 3.25" increments

Q: I see the weight limit is 250 lbs, but has anyone around the 200 mark actually used it without issue? (not 150's!)

I used it @ 220 pounds. No problems at all.

Just great fun

A fiddle to fold, but good as a starter rebounder

Relatively easy to assemble, definitely a 2 person job. Fiddly to fold, but not a problem for me as I can store it without folding it.It has a fairly firm bounce, so good technique is important otherwise you can jar your back.Great fun to use and very effective, you can work up a sweat in no time!
