Another superb CD by a sadly missed musician. Amy has a wonderful voice. Not to be missed. There is no one that I would not recommend this CD to. I gave it a rating of a 4 because even though the whole Cd is great I prefer just the classic soul picks and upbeat songs. Still, another wonder voice on the whole CD.

While I don't consider Amy to be quite as good as she's made out to be, I do recognize that she had talent for singing, song writing, and playing blues guitar. If she had lived and been nearly sober for performances, she likely would have become as great as Aretha, Billie, Ella, or Mr. Bennett. We'll never know. Amy's JukeBox is an excellent collection of songs, most sung live and "in the moment" by the original performer, back in the day. I'm suspect many were BBC broadcasts from the 1960's and 1970's; just the way young Amy would have heard them. True, the quality of some of the recordings aren't great, but that's the way things were "back in the day". (ever heard the Beatles in Hamburg, or the Monkees in Mobile? That's horrible recording quality!) I don't regret taking a chance on this purchase - you won't either.

The set is full of great artists n most recordings are clear but live recordings fall into worse than bootleg quality. It cheapened the entire presentation as a hurry up project to make money from Amy's recent demise ASAP. Sad because Amy wouldn't dig it put together like this. She'd want the best representation of these artists. So 8 out of 26 are very low quality disappointing recordings.

I though I was getting Amy singing, instead I received a group of oldies sung by the whomever. I did not care if these were her favorite songs. I feel like this was scam to make money. I do bear some responsibility for not reading the fine print but I usually learn from my mistakes.

This is a great CD. There are a couple of songs that I don't like too well but the rest make up for it. I didn't realize that it was other artists instead of Ms. Winehouse when I ordered it but I wasn't disappointed. There are 26 songs that are mostly from my "younger" days. If you love Sinatra, The Supremes and that era of music, you will love this CD.

The cover and packaging are quite good and worth the purchase if you are an Amy Winehouse collector and must have everything however too many of the tracks are live and of inferior quality....on a sonic level not worth the purchase.

Wife was a big fan when I added this to my jukebox.. RIP AMY you will be missed..

Being in my cottage I was already a lover of many of the tracks on this album. It is good to know that such a talented lady was inspired in part by music form my early years. perhaps it indicate stat music from my youth was and is quality and will live on inspiring today's talented musicians.
