Really good product for the money happy customer

Audio quality is improved with but it was'nt as good as I hoped. My voice is clearer but the mic struggles to pick up ambient noises. You will of course hear a car passing but not much else. for £10 it is worth it for the minor improvement but don;t think it's going to solve your Akaso V50X audio problems to the standards of more expensive cameras.

I bought this camera to replace one of a different brand that I lost on my travels. Delivery to the shop near my hotel was quick and everything arrived in perfect condition. I've not had the time to use it fully as of yet; but so far it seems to offer some decent picture quality and ease of use.

Well made and has a cloth covered cable. I bought it for my Akaso Brave 7 LE so I had to use the additional micro usb cable and the connect the USB C microphone to it. A simple test gave a superior sound recording when compared to the built in microphone. Remember to select the External Microphone option from the camera menu and then to put the setting back afterwards. I have quite a few accessories from a previous Action Camera so I should be able to put a together a small frame to clip the microphone onto alongside the action camera and support it all on a small tripod.

Bought this as using the AKASO mic is the only option for Akaso V50 Elite camera. I got this to try and resolve the mic gain (volume) level this camera has. The mic volume with this external camera was even worse. It Barely records your voice when clipped to collar. You need to hold it 5cm from you mouth. I contacted Akaso regarding this and the issue with V50 audio recording issue and their response was , 'turn up the volume when playing back on external video player. Sure this works to some effect but you need volume maxed out on video player and speakers. Shame I cannot use another make external mike to try and fix issue.

Seems to be a load of miss-information around regarding external mics and Akaso action cameras. To confirm - this works fine on an Akaso Ek7000 Pro using the micro USB port and enabling external mic in the options. The lead isn't very long - maybe just over a meter. Sound quality is improved but not excellent for voice. I just wanted it to record exhaust noise from a camera externally mounted to a car and suspect it will be perfect for this.

Akaso ex 7000 pro. Improved the audio a fair bit. I'd say 30% louder, if not more, but a whole lot crisper and clarity is improved a hell of a lot. This also works on my Wolfgang G200, excellent, as woolfang say you can only use their microphone 🎤. Nice long braided cable, windproof cover, which works to a degree. For a tenner, it's a no brainer

Lo tengo ya bastante tiempo y la verdad que funciona bastante bien y el audio es bastante aceptable. Sin duda una buena compra si quieres un micrófono para una cámara deportiva akaso

Fonctionne sur une caméra Apexcam, il semble plus solide que le micro que j'avais eu avec la caméra, la connectique coudée va permettre de ne pas croquer le câble si je pose mon casque (moto) sur une table, car j'ai positionné la caméra devant.

Acquistata insieme alla action cam della medesima marca, si sente un po meglio in confronto all audio interno della action cam, ma nulla di eccezionale.
