I love this powder. It gives sheer coverage and can be built up for more. It doesn’t irritate my rosacea. It’s good stuff.

I'm early fifties, and this is the first time I've tried Bare Minerals foundation. I have a BM bronzer that I like well enough, but it just never occurred to me to try the powder foundation. I guess I thought it'd just be like putting powder on your face and I figured it'd just be blah. I've tried Laura Gellar and Neutrogena mineral foundations and hated them. Laura Gellar was insanely cakey and Neutrogena was just basically cheap powder (plus it's not cruelty free). All of my liquid foundations just sit like a mask on my skin now, no matter how much I blend. I hate them, and I hate how old they make me look. I decided to try this. OMG. My skin looks absolutely amazing and I'm not exaggerating when I say it took a decade off my face. And it looks BETTER as the day goes on!! HOW!?! I have no idea how it provides such a radiant, translucent, yet effective glowy coverage. It's not matte, it's not shiny, it's just like perfect skin! My SUN SPOT on my cheek that I have to spackle with concealer pretty much buffed out under this stuff. And you can build it on one part of your face without it looking uneven on another part. I put cream blush over it and I'm telling you, it is flawless. It is absolutely AMAZING. I just bought a light color to put on areas where I'd like a lighter tone (eyes & under eyes, nasolabial folds, 11s, around lips, etc). I ended up throwing away a whole bunch of makeup and will just be using BM from now on. THANK YOU Bare Minerals!! Can't wait to try the eyeshadow and blushes!

This powder foundation is the best. Does not cake in wrinkles and unfortunately, I have some. Try it, you'll love it.Also get the foundation brush which applies it beautifully.

I’ve been using this bareMinerals Original Powder Foundation for a while now, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. It gives a very natural finish—your skin still looks like skin, just more even and polished. What I like the most is how lightweight it feels. It doesn’t feel heavy or cakey at all, even after a few hours of wear. It’s perfect for everyday makeup, especially if you don’t like liquid foundations. Coverage is buildable. You can keep it light for a natural look or layer it a bit more in areas where you need extra coverage. It also blends really easily with a brush. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get a little messy when opening the jar (since it’s loose powder), so you have to be careful when using it. Also, if you have very dry skin, you might want to moisturize well before applying. It is lightweight and blends into the skin easily. I was surprised that it conceals imperfections as well as it does. I have sensitive skin that makeup often irritates but this does not. The downside is that after a while, working with loose powder can leave a fine dusting around the makeup area.

Great foundation. Easy to apply with the same brand's brush. Clean (not overly made-up) look and doesn't bug my skin if left on long. Delivery as expected.
