LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!!
Being a dog trainer, I've had the opportunity to use just about every type of 'no pull' device on the market. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this harness/leash!! Very simple design. Easy to put on & take off. (Once you have had 'hands on' & understand how it works.) Nice & FLEXIBLE. (Moves with your dog). Very SOFT SURFACE that does NOT RUB, WEAR HAIR OFF, cause SORES & CHAFING. If you follow the directions & have this properly fitted, it's SUPERB!! I was not very sure how well this harness would work. Very skeptical about whether it would stay in place & not slip off the chest/rib cage. Decided to try it because of the many, really positive reviews (VERIFIED PURCHASES!) I wasn't disappointed!! When fitted properly on your dog, it's AWESOME! It's important to know that this doesn't fit around the neck like a collar. Adjusting the black stops so that it's seated farther down from the neck, more on the shoulder/chest area & it truly does work like a charm!! I just got a 5 mo. old Black & Tan Coon Hound mix about 2 weeks ago. He has not learned any 'leash etiquette' yet! Being a 'hound', he loves to follow his nose. When dogs get into a behavior that's been bred into & hardwired in their brains for YEARS, they go into 'limbic' mode. They get SO INTO that behavior, that they truly do not hear or see anything else. They leave the 'thinking/learning' part of their brain behind. My puppy is 5 months old & he's been following his nose all that time. I needed something to get his attention. Most harnesses just don't do that. Especially the type of harness that attaches the leash to the front of the chest. All that does is pull them off balance for a minute & then they pull harder! Those types of harnesses work very well for some dogs, but not all. It's really hard to get the attention of a dog thats SO INTO their instinctual behaviors!! This harness works BEAUTIFULLY for that!! As soon as I received this from Amazon, I put it on my boy & we went for a walk. He's not always constantly pulling. He does quite well for not having any leash training. But as soon as we go by a scent that catches his attention, them he pulls, HARD! It's REALLY HARD to get his attention back on me & the walk. The pressure from the harness GOT HIS ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY! I was quite suprised that this worked SO QUICKLY & SO WELL! It's not a CURE for pulling, but it DOES get their attention, REALLY WELL! It makes it so much easier to TRAIN them when you can get their attention!! One important thing to keep in mind, you should never expect perfection from your dog or puppy. Dog breeds have been bred for specific purposes for HUNDREDS of YEARS!! Each dog is different. Two pups from the same litter can have completely different levels of instinctual behavior. One might have a very high 'drive', while the other may not have much at all. It's SO VERY IMPORTANT for dogs to experience those things. I have a hound breed that LOVES to follow his nose. I'm teaching him that it's not appropriate for him to do that when he's 'on leash'...but I make sure that he has plenty of 'off leash' time. A dog that gets enough exercise & time to practice those natural instincts, is going to be a much, much more content. A content, happy dog is much easier to train & is much more apt to want to please you. That deepens you & your dogs relationship & makes for a happy home!!

Love this leash and so do many of my friends who’ve gotten it.
Myself and the dog love this. Such an easy product to use and I know she isn’t getting loose or a clasp or closer is never going to break. It helps wit it being it own harness. Very durable as have used mutiple times a day for over a year. Not much fraying or fuzziness of the material at all where it slides through the loops to create the harness. Such a great toddy that’s is so useful. I got another in another color I love it so much. Friends have gotten this also. My dog does also grab it to hold in her mouth when very excited and there been now chew marks or fraying. Fit is great and love how it looks. Worth the money and then some.

Finally! A harness that WORKS!
This is the best leash/harness I have ever owned for training leash manners. I have had dogs for over 30 years. I have used a wide variety of tools to assist with leash training. This has proven to be the best one by far! It is comfortable on the wrist, has just a little stretch/"give" to offset the pulling, is easy to apply and the best part: EFFECTIVE! My most difficult dog has been a Labradoodle. I tried a Martingale collar, gentle leader and various types of harnesses, including "PetSafe Easy Walk". Then I decided to trial this product. My dog became much more responsive to the leash upon feeling the tension around his body and did not struggle with it the way he did while wearing the gentle leader. The rope is substantial in thickness, and the rubber stoppers are great to keep the harness from getting too loose. This is a great find. If you have an unruly dog who needs to learn manners, I strongly recommend this product!

Best Harness yet for my big dog
I don't typically bother writing reviews, but this was great enough that I thought it was worth it. I've got a 110 lb 8 month old Saint Bernard. We were told, eh he'll stop pulling as he gets older, but in the mean time, I have a back injury and want to walk him. So I tried multiple harnesses now, this is by far my favorite. It has a learning curve to put on, but it is super easy once you get the adjustments right and set for your dog. He pulls occasionally still but he's really not able to pull hard enough to topple me, I can stop in my tracks and it's not super painful for him. He's got a lot of fur that I worry about pulling but nothing else seems uncomfortable. His old harness he'd run from if he saw us pick it up, this one he patiently waits for us to get settled. Definitely watch videos or read the directions bc you could easily do it wrong, but seriously for a big dog it's an excellent and affordable choice!

Decent harness
Our dog is a flat coat retriever and boarder Collie mix, so he's a big boy, about 70 lbs. He still pulls with this leash, but not nearly as much as just a collar/leash duo. My son left it on him and he loved chewing it to pieces, so I did order another one! I do plan on ordering a third one too, because he did chew this one a little and the duct tape looks a little hoosier! Both instances, were our fault, not the making of or integrity of the harness or the dog's fault. So, it seems pretty comfortable for Charley to wear. It is kind of a pain to put on if your dog isn't well behaved. You have to put the 1st loop over the head and then wrap the remainder around his chest, then through the hole on the back. It seems like a lot, but I make him sit and do it from behind him, as that has been the easiest for me. It is kind of reflective, but not too much really, although it does have a few reflective strips woven in. It is comfortable enough to hold, it's soft on your hand, but feels sturdy at the same time. Like I said, I plan on buying it again, so I guess it's decent!

Great for a front-amp tri-paw pup
I've bought several harnesses for my front-amp tri-paw girl, including the most recommened Ruffwear Flagline. We struggled to find anything that didn't swing around her body. We were walking some dogs from the local humane society recently and they were using these leads. I asked if they had any experience with them on tri-paw dogs. The lady I asked has her own front-amp pup at home and said these leads worked great. So, I ordered one. I've very pelased with it. I't not the simplest to put on but it's not complicated once you get the hang of it. It works well and stays put. It's comfortable for both of us. It's also a little longer than your standard leash and I like that.

Really amazing harness
I really love this harness. My 13 y.o. Westie never really had to be walked on a leash. Now we are in a city and every outing requires a leash walk in a lot of traffic. Crossing streets was a scary tug of war. If I was winning I felt like I was strangling her. If she was winning she slipped her head out of the collar and tried to run into traffic. At any rate this harness really makes our walks much more safe. The rope is very soft, the colors are vibrant and it is very easy to use. I love that it can be adjusted in tiny increments. She seems comfortable wearing it. My only reservation is the rubber plug that keeps the harness in place. Aside from being unattractive I am concerned that after repeated use it will wear down and stop working. I guess we'll see. Otherwise at this point I feel it was wonderful purchase.

After six months, this thing has a permanent place in the backpack
I have a labradoodle puppy who has grown to be three times the size he was when I bought this. It still works really well. It's nice and thick, but very light and easy for both of us to use. (I need to get a long lead of this material!) It goes on and off fast, and does restrain him pretty well. The only two small downsides are: (1) it will tighten and stay tight if you have to pull too much (this can be mitigated by stopping and easing it a bit after some epic struggle like a bunny shooting by); and (2) when the doodle's doo is too long, I have to be careful not to catch his fur between the rubber slide stopper and the rope (he has lost a few tufts to this). I think it would fit any size dog and because it's so light and so quick and easy to put on and take off, it's a very useful to take along. He chewed it once when we first got it, but it barely frayed it and did not do any structural damage. Excellent product (and the colors are so nice). Update 4/1/25: So many people ask me about this combo leash/harness. A client just stopped by my office because she had looked in every pet store and couldn't find anything like this. I sent her the link and thought I'd do an update. It's been almost two years I've had this leash and other than the small chew from when he was a pup, it still looks like new. It's simple to use and the material is soft and thick, but also lightweight. I have a huge collection of harnesses at this point and this one is one of the two I use. The other is a Blue-9 which I use when I want to be able to disconnect the leash but leave the harness on. However, if we find ourselves in a field or another opportunity to go off leash and we're using this combo harness, I just wrap it loosely around a second time and tuck the end through the loop again and off he goes. This also works for when you want a short leash in tricky situations. Oh yes, it also doesn't seem to stink like collars and harnesses! Can't imagine why not, but we live in the country and I have never washed this thing. I will post a photo. Still recommended!

Escape proof
This harness is just amazing. Having had a really scary experience when my dog escaped a harness on a busy road, this is the only one I feel comfortable that my dog won’t be able to back out of.

Best harness ever
I have a 30 pound schnauzer who has backed out of multiple harnesses and pulls like crazy. His last harness was fraying at the leash attachment and with this harness, you don’t have to worry about a piece breaking and the harness failing. If I had known about this harness first, I would have saved myself a lot of money and scares with the dog getting loose. 1000% worth the money, not to mention how easy it is to put on and take off. My dog is so used this harness now that after I put it over his head, he steps into the body part by himself. If anything ever happens to this, I will definitely get another. He also pulls a lot less, although he still does pull. The only thing I would change is add more reflection tape!

Pour une petite sortie
Parfait pour notre chien quand c’est juste pour se rendre à l’auto ou sur une courte distance. Pour une marche on préfère encore notre harnais car notre chien est costeau
