Ceramic Egg Pan

Love it!

I Bought this pan about 2 months ago I think. The pictures taken today Sep 25 th it still looks as good as new, Very good quality pan, good coating on the pan and materials overall. Make a perfect omelet , medium eggs as we like every time, nonstick and good size not too small and not too big. Easy to clean. Recommend ! Very well worth the price you’re paying for a good frying pan.

What I like about it: 1) Extremely slippery surface. I have even browned up sea scallops in butter and not even the teensiest bit of anything stuck to pan. 2) The shape has squared corners and straight sides. The main reason I like this that pretty much all spatulas have straight edges and so can be awkward to get under food which is near an edge. That isn't the case with a straight edge pan like this. It makes getting under food easy, even when it is up to the edge of the pan. Things like eggs are much easier to handle without mangling them. 3) Super easy to clean. Because it is so slippery, the pan is practically clean before you take it off the range. No scrubbing is ever required. Just gentile washing and rinsing is all you have to do. 4) The edge opposite the handle is angled out a bit from the pure vertical. This makes it easy to "dump" the pan contents. This gives you a fast and easy alternative to picking the food up and out if you wish. 5) Even though the base metal is aluminum, it incorporates a steel pad to make it induction capable. There are also some things I'm not as thrilled about. There aren't any show stoppers but are at least mildly disappointing: 1) It is sold as having a non stick surface provided by a ceramic coating, yet uses PTFE (Teflon)? For myself, and I'm sure many others, the point of going with ceramic is to achieve non stick properties while still being safe to use at higher heat levels. Because this does have PTFE, I limit its use to heat of medium or lower. There is still a lot you can do in that heat range, but still it would be best to not be limited. 2) The way the steel induction pad is incorporated into the pan causes there to be a slight raised area in the center of the cooking surface rather than a completely flat surface. It is not much and can be easy to miss with casual observation, but if you have only a small amount of butter or oil in the pan, it will tend to migrate to the perimeter and away from the center of the pan. The very best design of including heat spreaders and/or induction plates is having them sandwiched within layers of base metal, so that both the range contacting surface and the cooking surface are completely flat. That is more expensive to manufacture though, and I didn't happen to run across such a beast here on Amazon when I was browsing the offerings. Like I said, those aren't huge issues, and I still would buy & use this pan if I had it to do over again. I do want to mention these experiences though to potentially help others if it would be more of a concern to them.

I wanted a square pan after seeing it on a video. I love to cook and make nice looking omelettes. Plus, I love to cut and fry spam, which has a weird shape for round frying pans. So, I researched all the square pans on Amazon, as well as elsewhere online and settled on this. I was hesitant because some buyers complained of things which concerned me, like the pan burning, etc. I use this on an Inversion Stovetop exclusively and have been using it for about a month, multiple times. I spray it with non-stick spray prior to frying (or no oil at all with spam) and have had absolutely no problems. No burning, no difficulty washing, no signs of the coating coming off and no burning marks. Very easy to clean and it is my go-to pan most times. I use a larger round cover if I want to steam anything or I can even cover with foil, but no lie, this pan is sturdy, very well made and worth every cent!

Easy to use, and clean up is crazy fast. So far, it has not warped, and heats evenly. I made Japanese omelets, and they came out perfect in this pan. I have used it approximately 7 times so far, on an electric stovetop.

I love this pan. Nothing sticks to it. I use it to make perfect omelettes and Korean egg roll. It’s my first choice go to pan for everything actually.

The size is not for more than one person or one slice of bread

Originally bought the TECHEF - CeraTerra Ceramic Nonstick Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Pan to make rolled omelets. I now use this skillet for anything that will fit in it. It heats so evenly it puts our really expensive pans to shame. Works excellent on my gas stove as well as my hot plate. Ultra smooth finish, nothing sticks, cleans so easy. Has never discolored. I use my TECHEF - CeraTerra Ceramic Nonstick Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Pan between 5-15 times per week! It’s great for whole meals or with the easy clean up, to make custom egg orders for our three person household. It really is my favorite skillet!

Been looking for a replacement 'small square' frypan for my sister-in-law. Took me years to finally come across this 8 1/2" pan. Loved it so much I ordered 2 - 1 for her and 1 for me. They arrived quickly and am I ever impressed with the quality. Doesn't really need the silicone handle cover but I mistakenly ordered 12 of them instead of one for my cast iron fry pan. A beautiful little pan for my induction stove, nice and light too.. Perfect for my grilled cheese sandwiches, and need I say, from now on, all my omelettes will be square!

Lo uso para omelettes normales. La forma rectangular es ideal para que queden perfectos y del mismo tamaño siempre. Es el segundo sartén que compro. En este caso fue para regalo y gustó mucho. ¡Super compra!

This product is great for making egg rolls. Finding a square pan of this size is not easy at all.
