Moen YB2208CH Brantford Double Post Spring-Loaded Toilet Paper Holder, Chrome

Beautiful quality product! Had an installation problem (template was off about 3/4"+), called customer service. Handle very professional, friendly efficiently - sent replacement. Informed me regarding each step/part of replacement process. Moen products come with a great warranty with each product purchase!!! From Frustration (upset) to Elation!!! I also brought the 24" Towelbar. This was an easy installation due to there being an excellent video on Youtube.

I purchased this toilet paper holder so that my new home can have matching bath accessories. The builder provided Moen faucet fixtures, unfortunately no TP holder. I am very happy with how these look so perfect and matches my shiny new faucet. They are very solid and high quality metal, the spring loaded bar has a nice chrome finish, as opposed to the ones that are made of cheap white plastic. The instructions provided with a template allow me to achieve professional results without any extra holes in my wall.

After hosting a guest who accidentally damaged my toilet paper holder, I needed a swift, adequate replacement. I discovered this new holder that was effortless to install—much to my delight! This one utilizes innovative punch tabs that securely fasten it in place. I absolutely love how simple and efficient the installation process was!

I installed two toilet paper holders and four towel bars ( Moen YB2224CH Brantford 24-Inch Bathroom Towel Bar, Chrome ) in two bathrooms. All featured Moen's pro-fit attachment system, and I was skeptical as to whether it would be an improvement over traditional mounts using set screws. The installation was straightforward and everything attached securely. I do suspect that if there is ever a need to remove one of these fixtures, it likely will ruin it (there is, however, a slot to access the plastic clip with a flat screwdriver tip, which in theory should allow removal). My only complaints are the quality of the chrome finish, which isn't great, and that Moen cheaped out with aluminum tubes for the towel bars and a spring-loaded plastic tube for the toilet paper holders.

I had one of these in my guest bath and it has worked great unlike a more expensive TP holder that I had before that kept falling apart. So this is my second purchase of this item for my master bath and I highly recommend it and the matching items for your bath.

Go a 1/4 or so shorter than the instructions say for the width to mount, or the holder will be loose. Or at least double check before you drill the holes. Make sure to level the mounts as you tighten the screws because even if you drill the pilot holes level it can still knock itself out if level as you tighten. I just laid a level between the two black plastic mounts as I screwed the anchors in. Then when they were tight(stop tightening when you feel it starts to take more effort and mount is snug) I pushed in the metal stab pieces to lock it in place to keep it from being able to turn.

It wasn't super easy to install especially if you make a mistake and you have to remove it and start again but at the end I did it and it looks great!

Really nice fixture, but the anchors provided were a bit challenging to use. The first attempt at mounting one of the anchors resulted in bending it. Would have been nice if Moen could have provided one extra anchor for boo boos. Once installed the unit is very secure and nice looking.
