to the best of my knowledge, "Raw puer" vs "ripe puer" meaning that the raw puer (NON FERMENTED) tea is harvested and stored naturally. The tea has a fresh smell to it but it can be bitter as your drink it, but it has a sweet after taste. The RIPE puer (FERMENTED TEA) goes through a piling process which causes it to have a bolder flavor

How long is Prince of Peace Pu-erh tea aged?

This is a question for the vendor. I suggest you email Prince of Peace using the "Contact Seller" option. Personally, I don't care how long my teas have been aged. I judge them only by their flavor, color, aroma, and aftertaste. I can only tell you that it's a lovely tasting tea...very mellow and smooth, with a beautiful, dark amber/brown color with a hint of red. It steeps quite quickly. We have enjoyed it straight as well as with a few spoons of table cream and a bit of stevia sweetener. There is no aftertaste as there is with some teas, and no waxy looking residue on our clear glass teacups after drinking the tea. (I have found several teas, especially green tea, that leave a very noticeable film on our teacups. I imagine if they leave that kind of a film/stain on glass, they must do the same to our teeth. This is not the case with Prince of Peace Pu-erh tea.)

Excellent tea but super expensive in India

The tea in itself is great. Though it's slightly Earthy Taste may not be liked by all. On the other side, I happened to see this in US stores and the same thing costs $4 in there, but costs 8 times more in India. I am not sure if the duty and import charges are so high.
