Hesitant at first, but now I'm 100% sold
So, I chose this over getting a trailer to haul my bike because trailers require a tag, have tires that can fail, and take a lot of room for storage. So advantage black widow As far as fitment, it was perfect on my Grand Cherokee. Your hitches tongue rating is normally 10-15% of max towing capacity. So if your vehicle can tow 6000lbs then you can use this without worry. My Jeep handled it beautifully. This carrier is very sturdy. I have no doubts after driving 6 hours with my 400lb baby hanging off the back. She stayed solid. I cringed at every pothole and bump but she never moved. Pros: easy assembly. Solid construction. Low loading height which makes for much easier loading/unloading. For a small bike like mine, I was able to do it solo Cons: the bike will block your tailights. I plan to add lights to mine for future trips. The ramp needs grip tape. 3m 2" grip tape for $11 solved that. The ramp in it's stowed position is noisy, but a couple of felt washers solved that. Not perfect, but absolutely deserves 5 stars for making bike transport an easy experience

Great hauler. No complaints.
This thing works really well. The only downside thus far is the set-screw (bolt) system that tightens the unit to your hitch to reduce tilting and bouncing. The bolts that are intended for that purpose (like all of the hardware in the kit) are a much cheaper grade of bolt and will bend. I replaced them with grade 8 bolts with decent success. Plan to tighten them a time or two on a long trip, as it’s not a perfect system. I have hauled my KTM 1190 ADV on a couple of long trips and am happy with it. (Slightly under 500lbs) It’s pretty easy to load a bike on by yourself, though you’ll want to put some kind of grip tape on the ramp before you use it. I also got a set of magnetic trailer lights to stick to the carrier as my tail lights are at least partially blocked when the bike is on there. A final note: this thing is heavy. Don’t try to put it on your hitch by yourself if you’re a smaller person.

Solid Carrier!!!
I received the product in 3 days and it traveled half way across the Country. When it arrived it was packed very well and I 'm really impressed with the quality of the materials that its made out of. This is a very solid carrier. I'm impressed with the craftsmanship. I loaded my newly purchased KLR 650 with a with a dry weight of 432lbs and then drove 150 trouble free miles with no issues at highway speeds. I definitely recommend always using at least 4 tie down straps and the SMC-600R carrier gives you 4 solid anchor points. I used my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel with a tongue capacity of 720lbs and the Jeep is also equipped with load leveling. You can tell its back there but I had no issues. The employee of the motorcycle dealership that helped me load and tie down, said that he has seen a lot of these but never this model. He liked the way its made and said it will be the model he purchases for his motorcycle. I had no issues during my trip. Great product! I would strongly recommend this product to a friend or anyone for that matter!!!

Cheap Chinese product
I bought this specific product in part because it was able to be delivered by a certain date for a trip. Item arrived on time but not only was the box damaged and had holes in it but it was missing the hardware to assemble. I originally thought it was missing due to the hole in the box however when I unboxed the product it was scratched and looked like it had been used. So I had to procure the hardware myself to assemble it most of the holes were not drilled/punched so I had to do that myself. The piece that fits into the receiver was much smaller and even with a receiver rattle plate, it still moved around quite a lot. Overall not a quality hitch mount motorcycle hauler for the price point. Want to return it but the shipping will be more than I paid.

Quality is diminished by lack of details…
Shipped in 4 days, arrived undamaged. Easy assembly. . I haven’t tested it yet . I’ve given it a B- as a product. As per Chinese industrial standards, the paint is only a one pass. The aluminum C channel edges were razor sharp, unfinished from the CNC router. DIY belt sanding necessary for those who don’t want to forgetfully slice their palm open or a curious child. A little pricey for what you get but otherwise looks like a OK product. The worker in charge of stickers couldn’t be bothered to Find Center and was off by about seven or 8 inches.. Easily removed – lol.

Have not tried it ,still in the middle of winter, it appears to be sturdy enough for my bike, will have to wait for spring, then I can give more info.
