The Small Pond Bottom Drain Accepts 56mm/2" (50mm Domestic Waste) Black Waste Pipe.
The Single Ring Aerated Bottom Drain incorporates an 225mm Dia aerator that sits neatly on top of the Sump Dome. Not only does the aeration benefit your pond and your fish but it also helps with pulling debris into your sump making it more effective. This kit comes supplied with 10 meters of flexible clear PVC airline (4mmID-6mmOD).
Bottom drains are designed to be placed at the deepest part of the pond for the removal of the wastes and the settlements of the koi/fish. Can be installed into multiple areas of the pond to stop sludge build up.
For best use, the pipe work should run as direct to the filter. This is because although there is water flow through the pipe work, the heavier solids tend to settle out and can build up in the pipe work itself..
