Mystic Angel

This CD is probably a tape transfer or at least it sounds like it to my ear. The sound was a little soft but still enjoyable. I would call it romantic new age from back in the day. If you're familiar with Mike Rowland's music you will probably enjoy adding this to your collection. Rowland uses a lot of what I believe are electronically reproduced violin sounds. They have a warmer feel that today's digital versions but are also less crisp. I like the effect others may not. My only critique is sometimes I feel the shimmering violins and what I would call sparkle sounds are a bit much. I would have preferred to hear more of Rowland's just plain keyboards with fewer violin and sparkle embellishments or perhaps more prominent keyboards and less of the other instruments' presence. I preferred Land of Hopes & Dreams or Arc-En-Ciel: Healing but it's a matter of taste and this is still an enjoyable album and I would say perhaps a bit more uplifting than Land of Hopes and Dreams. Wonderful for relaxation especially while reading a book or doing crafting. Overall if you like a romantic feel (reminds me of a romantic movie score from the old movies) you will enjoy this album.

Love Mike Rowland and never found any music he has done that I didn't like. His music is soothing and I use to to meditate to as well.

I love New Age music, and Mike Rowland has become my favorite new age artist. The first time I heard the tune, "Mystic Angel," I was hooked.

I was first introduced to this recording by my sister when she used it for my mother's funeral. I've grown to love this album. Aloha from Hawaii!

Beautiful music, Mike Rowland does a fine job here with Mystic Angel this is perfect after a stressful day lovely sounds indeed. As with many of the New World artists Mike has a great talent and you can hear it on this very album, buy it hear it and love it I did just that.

I like this music. It's tranquil and good for relaxing to or for Meditation. I like slow music that floats and this mostly does.

Dans la lignée d'Aeoliah, des musiques éthérées, très agréables. Que ce soit pour la relaxation, une pause dans la journée ou pour accompagner un massage, ces 11 morceaux sont tous conseillés : ils vous emmènent dans des paysages merveilleux... Un peu courts, toutefois (5 mn pour certains).

Diese Disc habe ich für mich gekauft. Sie ist sehr schön und auch gut zum Meditieren. Ich werde mir noch weitere Musik dieser Art zulegen
