Love, love, love this brush! Easily goes through long wet hair. Sounds loud like it is pulling your hair but it doesn't hurt at all. Actually massages your scalp. I always used my argon oil infused detangling comb after a shower, but now I only use the comb to make my hairline part and I brush it with this brush. Work great on dry hair too. My 4 year old granddaughter who hates her hair brushed after a bath doesn't mind this brush at all.

this is the absolute premier brand of hairbrushes you could ever use. I am the daughter of a cosmetologist and have never used any other brush my entire life. I have a very sensitive scalp and this brush is so easy on me. I can brush wet hair and it doesn't break my hair. The bristles are nylon, so heat against it will melt the bristles. I have to use a different styling brush if I'm going to press it to a blow dryer. I would be lost without my Jean Peirre!

This remains simply the best nylon brush on the Market - the bristles are the perfect stiffness and they feel good on the scalp - no scratching at all, working perfectly to detangle and smooth the hair! However the new Owners of the Company have definitely cut corners in the manufacturing process. There were knife-sharp shards of plastic along part of the handle seam (the seam of the mold that formed the brush body), meaning that there was no hand finishing step after the brush body was ejected from the mold. It took me a few minutes to carefully cut the shards away then sand and polish the seam - a step that would have taken only a minute or so with factory equipment! This is inexcusable for a brush of this price, quality and stellar reputation as one of the top quality brushes in the World!

This hand-made, French brush is excellent for my daughter's long hair. Much better than those crappy paddle brushes her mother uses. I also have the boar bristle version of this brush, but the crystalline does a much better job of getting the tangles out (on both dry and wet hair) and does so without hurting her. The boar bristle is also a fine brush, but is more suitable for relatively tangle-free, dry hair. I highly recommend this brush for people with hair.

Best brush ever, nothing compares. I had this brush when I was a child and forgot about it. I'm 33 and have a lot of fine very straight hair, that's very long and tangles easily. Something made me remember the brand and I looked it up on Amazon and it was there, just like I remember. It redistributes your hairs oils well, gets rid of tangles, and makes your hair really shiny. I sincerely hope they never stop using this brush. My toddler has fine, curly hair and it works great on her too.

I've been using this brush for over 20 years. This is hands down the best hairbrush around for wavy or curly hair. Untangles hair like magic and pain free to boot!

I’ve used this brush since 1974. Able to brush my hair when it’s wet without damaging it. Recommend to me by a Beverly Hills hairdresser named Andre back in the day. Eccentric and wonderful man. Insisted all of his clients use this brush. I highly recommend it.

This is just a wonderful brush. Combs through any sort of dry hair easily and without pulling or tearing or damaging your hair. Same goes for wet hair. Very gentle on your hair.
