Namaha, Stories From The Land of Gods And Goddesses, is a collection of short stories inspired by the ancient wisdom literature of India. Abhishek Singh's work is acclaimed around the world for its unique style and storytelling. With compelling illustrations and enthralling text, Singh takes you into the fantastical worlds of ancient Indian mythology, deciphering its symbolic, humanistic and ecological layers. This illustrated book with a fascinating collection of stories is a must-have for all! It offers: • The book introduces the readers to ancient Indian literature complemented by captivating artworks • It takes the reader on a spiritual ride • The olden Indian stories are retold from a new perspective • It brings the reader closer to the Indian culture and traditions • It will cater to curious minds and the visuals will keep them hooked for hours Review: Simply Magical - Its difficult to say whats more ethereal - Abhishek's art or his storytelling.. or the simplicity in his words that makes the most complicated feelings comprehendible. His mastery over these freeflowing artscapes and his enthralling stories that have a fluid myriad of worlds and beings mystical yet relatable, just add more mystery to the myths Abhi is creating in this book. Namah also consists of some of my most favorite unpublished and unreleased rare art of Abhishek Singh. These pieces created over the last ten fifteen years are presented for the first time for his fans. Jumping straight out of his numerous sketchbooks, canvases, digital files - these masterpieces are worth cherishing. The book is as poetic and Sufiana as Abhishek Singh, experience the magic and savour the amazing art of Abhishek Singh. Review: Art Captures Truth - Books like these can't quite be reviewed. They capture something deep and profound about India's heritage and the eternal nature of the Hindu religion. So let me just state that I loved everything the artist Abhishek Singh and his team accomplished in these books. I never quite expected the artwork to be so immersive, detailed, and beautiful. It truly gave off epic vibes. The stories contained between the covers brought India's rich and ancient beliefs to life in more ways than one. I wouldn't call the books religious, per se, but they did possess an incredible weight of spirituality and symbolism just waiting to be explored, or rather re-explored.

"You will become all of it, one big breath when the night dawns" - Namaha -Story 2 -
A significant care and love has gone into this art. The energy translates through. I have been following Abhishek Singh's work since I started my artistic journey. His works for me shares the same summit as Indian classical artists like Raja Ravi Verma and M. V. Dhurandhar. Over the years reading his stories on social media and his outreach and recently his studying of Elephants to bring their stories to the light is really heart warming. I am happy that there are a few paintings of the majestic beasts in the chapter Ansuya. (one of my favorite stories of the book thus far) I don't know what else to say, but if you like expressive and immersive art, a dive into the cosmos of Indian Gods and Goddesses and an affinity for great story telling, this book is for you.

Great: essence. Average: print quality. Bad: used!
Very good one from Abhishek Singh, and similar in most ways to Purnam- very surreal and dream like, just like the Shiva mythologies it is based upon! I resonated with the author- in his sketches, and in his prose. The binding is great. My grouses: 1. Publisher (wonder house) this one has a print quality that is clearly not as good as the Purnam copy I received. Was that one great, or this one bad? 2. Seller (Cocoblu): why did you sell me a used copy?!! If used, at least ensure that some pages are not as crumpled (none were torn, thank you!) In your defence, this is the first time in multiple orders, so let's agree to dismiss this as a one off.

Abhishek Singh's work is one of a kind. Not only is he a brilliant artist, he is also a gifted storyteller. Everything from the cover to the strokes of colors to the words is breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone who loves to find joy in beauty and authenticity.

Artwork is Humbling & Amazing. Wow!
So glad I bought this. Stunningly beautiful. Even in it's most grandiose expression, the images in this book retain a soft thoughtful grace. This is where a reviewer might find a likeness in style to Ledroit, or Amano... Maybe with added touches of Susan Seddon Boulet in the overall emotional feeling. But this - rightly so - is somehow very much its own self. Excellent and masterclass work! More than likely this will remain on my coffee table for a very, very long time. I'll be hunting for his other work. Exceptional.
