Brentwood Coffee Grinder

It worked well for approximately 4 days. Fifth day, no joy. The on/off button was cracked or something. Long story short: not durable. Sent it back and Amazon immediately credited my account though. Thanks guys. In the meantime I bought a Proctor Silex at Big Lots for $9.99 and it works as well as a $10 blade grinder should be expected to work, and that's good enough for me (until I start dropping major coin on gourmet beans).

I needed a coffee grinder for the occasional time I get whole beans as a gift. So I thought I would give this a try.I won't be using it all the time so I was looking at some of the more inexpensive models and this one didn't have any reviews so I bought it. I haven't heard of it but figured it was worth a shot.Use:I washed it after taking out of the package and it was very easy to clean. I place a portion of beans in, put the lid on and in a short while I had ground coffee! This is one where you push down on the lid and it triggers the blade to move. This prevents inadvertently turning it on without the cover being seated properly. I found I was able to get a reasonably consistent size grain, I did periodically shake the container to make sure everything was evenly distributed.Pros:This unit is easy to use and clean. The cord is able to be stored away neatlySuggestions:I don't really have any for this model as it worked exactly as expected.Overall:This is my first product from Brentwood but based on the quality so far I would recommend this grinder and probably other products they make

This product broke after it was used once! The button completely broke off and will no longer turn off unless it is unplugged.

Didn't work at all. Returned junk.
