I like this book
This is an awesome book. I saw alot of smoothie recipe books, large and small, I don't need a 300 page recipe book to make smoothies so I bought this one, its the right size & fits in my kitchen drawer, has plenty to offer, has the 150 recipes like it says & I couldn't ask for more. There are fruit, vegie, protein, energy, any type of smoothie you want. Of course you can play around w/ dif ingredients & make what you like. I'd say that this book is a good investment! One of my fav is the vegie smoothie w/tomato, celery, peppers, salt & pepper, it's like a V8 juice. I think there's something here for e'1. I bought a second book to give to my daughter, she & the kids love smoothies in the summertime, there are also gazpacho recipes but I don't think I'd like cold soup? It's worth the price.

Great innovative smoothie book!
Living in California my entire life, I grew up on smoothies during those hot summer days. It was very easy to just throw some fruit and juice into a blender and voila! However, that could get very repetitive and this Smoothie Recipe Book offered so many different options that I don't think I will ever get bored. Not to mention that there are great tasting smoothies in here that I could never even dream about! This book provides fun and innovative ways to create smoothies that are not only healthy for you but are surprisingly tasty. I never knew up till now that simply throwing together a smoothie is not only full of sugar but can be damaging to your teeth. These well thought out recipes help keep you out of the danger zone of making something unhealthy and instead actually help vital organs such as your brain and kidneys. There's even a section for kids, diabetics and people with digestive problems! I definitely recommend this book of delicious recipes for anyone looking for a convenient, fast and yummy meal on the go.

This smoothie book has it all. I really enjoyed reading it. No matter your lifestyle or specific health conditions, you will find something to suit your needs. It has everything. From smoothies for weight loss, healthy skin and anti - aging, diabetic smoothies, and smoothies for brain nutrition just to name a few. Something I really liked is that it gives you the option to exclude any ingredients you may not like, as well as allowing you to add anything you would like to make the smoothie taste wonderful to you. Therefore the recipes in this book aren't set in stone, making room for you to create what's best for you or someone else. The recipes are very easy to follow. This book tells you exactly how to cut the foods for your smoothie, as well as if you should leave the skin on or peel off the skin on certain fruits and vegetables. It specifies whether to use a green apple or a red apple. Some smoothies are designed to be consumed in the morning or at night, and this book will indicate that. There is a secret ingredient that, when added to a smoothie, will preserve it so if you're going to drink the smoothie at a later time it's still as fresh as when you made it. You'll have to read the book to find out! The Smoothie Recipe Book is loaded with all sorts of information. It gives you "The Dish" on a variety of ingredients used throughout the book. Buying a juicer or a blender is easy, but finding healthful, easy recipes to keep it interesting and fresh is a harder task
The "Smoothie Recipe Book; 150 Smoothie Recipes" provides plenty of smoothie recipes - from all fruit to really tasty combinations of fruit and veg, including potato smoothies! The recipes are conveniently organized according to their health benefits and provide "easily digested" bits of information scattered throughout the recipes on the benefits of the individual ingredients. Covering everything from smoothies to nourish your brain to smoothies to help your digestion, as well as a kid friendly section, what I really like about this book is that it does not overwhelm you with scientific info and the info it does provide is actually accurate (which is not always the case). For example, there is a lot of hype about "alkalizing" diets that affect your blood pH. This book correctly states that there is little one can ingest that will change your blood pH but that the benefit of such diets is to other fluids and systems in the body. In the diabetic smoothie section it even wisely suggests you check with your doctor first as some smoothies contain a lot of sugar. A healthy recipe book with accurate information is really a hard thing to find. Looking forward to trying lots of these recipes!

Smoothie book without photos?
To be fair it's clear in the product oage that it didn't have photos, but I missed that. In my mind a smoothie book has to have photos.

Ring binding covers the full letter S and R ( see photo). No photos or pictures inside. I have asked for a refund.
