I have been using this projector for more than a year now. The picture is bright and crisp. With proper keystone adjustment, the edges can be kept almost blur-free. I use a 120 inch white screen, and the color reproduction is fantastic. The build of the projector is quite good, with a removable dust filter. The noise of the fan is very low, and is easily drowned by the sound of the movie/video. The in-built sound is loud and impressive, and is not bad at all. Still I would recommend a mini sound system which can be connected to the projector with a 3.5 mm audio jack. Always use the HDMI port for best video output (720p and above). Coming to the after-sales service: This is one of greatest worries while buying a projector. Since these are costly items, good after-sales service is a must. Fortunately, Egate does what it promises. At about 11 months of rigorous use, there was a small pink tinge in the lower corner of the screen. I called up the Egate customer care. They were very prompt at responding. They arranged for a pickup from my home, and the pickup was done the very next day. Within 10 days, they repaired my projector and sent it to my home through Blue Dart. The service was really quick and efficient, and deserves a 5 star. Finally, it must be said that compared to the other brands in Amazon, Egate projectors offer an excellent value for money, because they ensure good quality at a relatively cheaper price with dependable after-sales service. This is my second projector from Egate, and I have been using them since five years. Would definitely suggest to go for this company.

I decided to hurriedly buy a replacement in projector when my previous one suddenly developed an issue. After some careful analysis of specs and customer reviews I decided to pick this one up. I must say I have not been disappointed. Although not exactly a short throw projector it can still create a pretty big screen if you can keep it just about 9 feet away. Picture quality has a pop to it that makes the images crackle. The colors almost sizzle and the brightness of the projected screen is just beautiful. In fact brightness is good enough for you to watch a movie even in the daytime as long as you have light curtains on the window. Although it is a HD projector (and not full HD) but the picture quality is pretty detailed. Even the 5w box speakers produce better sound than most other integrated speakers that come with other projectors. The projector by itself is quite compact and lightweight. Build quality is much better than a few others that are housed in cheap plastic boxes. And of course the cooling fans are much lesser in decibels (=low noise) as compared to most other projectors in this class. This can make a lot of difference when you are in a small room and sit close to the projector. So then is it all hunky dory? Well there are some minor issues but they may not exactly be the deal breakers. Nonetheless, you must consider these before making a decision. First of all, compared to my previous projector, this one has a bigger edge distortion/focusing issue. While most cheaper projectors have this issue this one may have it a little more. Particularly if you are using the central leveling screw to raise the projector a bit. As I figured out unlike my previous projector this one needs to be kept at some sizable height and limit the use of the leveling screw to the least extent. That coupled with some minor keystone adjustment reduces the issue significantly. This is basically the visitek projector rebranded as egate. As such the only difference is that you have an indian brand name now to back this up. Does that make a difference? Im not sure. From my research on the net I felt that in case you ever run into an issue in future egate may not be there in all indian cities. However, i would still pay for a brand that has at least some india connection. Hopefully egate will grow and have better service presence in other major indian cities with time. Other than the above 2 issues another small point to note is that while you get 2 HDMI ports with this projector the number of USB ports is only limited to 1. This could be a problem if you run a chromecast or a Fire Stick and that draws power from the USB port. If you ever want to connect a pendrive or any other USB based storage then you will need to take the Firestick off its power source. Not a very big problem but it is nonetheless a minor hassle. My final take: buy the K9 with eyes closed. At 10.5k things cant get any better. Its an amazing little thing punching way beyond its weight category.

I purchased egate k9 after lot of research on projectors in the range of 10 k on 4th September 2020. This review I am posting is after 12 days of usage. Pros: Super full hd resolution clear video output. I projected in. 120 inch screen. (Inlight screen) provides super picture quality as same as from a TV Design is premium quality Input Ports and slots are strong as high price other branded projectors. No heating issue even after the continuous usage of 4 to 5 hours. (I just turn it off for 10 minutes then turned on again and used for another 2 to 3 hours)... Even after that continuous usage it has no heating issue.. I tested many times in this way in these days... The quality is something superb... Audio is loud enough for a average sized room... But better to use external speakers for the home theater feel... Edges and corners are precise enough to get natural viewing experience.. Brightness contrast and sharpness is well and good... (I am not using the default cool warm dynamic modes... I am using the manual mode ... Helps to set brightness according to the requirements ) Size is very handy... Not bulky... It will provide good quality video output even in average room light (both sunlight and average bright room lighting) condition as given in uploaded video here Cons: I think company has to improve Keystone adjustment accuracy little bit (doesn't mean it is useless) I m giving 6 out of 10 for keystone Keystone only for adjustment of top and bottom sides... Left and right adjustment is not available... Due to my room setup it is not affecting my viewing experience.. but if egate would include the 4d keystone... It will crack the competitors...

Overall a fine projector for the price. I took the standard version as I have a firestick already. Works very well with firestick. Minimum noise levels of fan. Picture quality is bright and sharp from multimedia perspective. Wouldn't recommend for office applications. Can get blurry towards the corners but almost negligible from watching movies/gaming perspective. Speaker are good enough to not always rely on external speakers.

The holographic seal of the box was open. The remote cover was already open. The projector bottom rubber bushes were also dirty and the projector had a little dust settled on it. All of this suggested I got a previously used product which I didn't like. Hence returned. However, the product is good and bang for the buck. Not sure regarding the after sales service though as I haven't used it at all.

I am not a movie junkie but I always wanted a cinema theatre in my home and was in search for a budget and good projector. After searching a lot and reading all the reviews I ended up in this Egate K9 projector. I bought this with many thoughts and doubts in my mind. To my surprise, it turned out to be the best thing that I did. It really turned my living room to a cinema theatre. I used it with a 100 inch screen and the picture quality is superb. Actually i think it depends mostly on on the movie that you play. If you play HD videos It displays with same quality. No lag or loss. The sound quality is pretty good. Actually more than I expected. If you connect it to a 5.1 it would change the entire story. The only thing that bothered me is the brightness. I expected more. The picture quality and brightness is best if you have a utter dark room. I dont know if 3000 lumens is this much only. But would be much better if this was having some more brightness. This felt to me mostly when I connected my set top box to the projector. In pen drive it was fair enough even with open doors. I am not sure about the reliability of this product cause I just received it and used it for 3 days. But I can say I'm satisfied. This is a value for money product in my opinion. Together with other equipment like screen and 5.1 surrond sound system it can really change any room to cinema hall.

I am using this non-android product for almost 1 week and here is my review of this product Pros:- 1. picture quality is good but not the best 2. compact design and you can carry easily in your bag 3. projection screen is good, colour, contrast combination is good. Cons:- 1. connectivity ports need up-gradation, at least USB 3.0 2nos. ports. 2. ket stone adjustment should be given 4D instead of 2D 3. focus quality need improvement 4. if you are watching videos from a long distance (>100 inches) the screen quality getting poor 5. no HDMI cord provided Considering it is a budget projector, and the product EGATE is selling is comendable.

Excellent picture quality , good for ppt, movie and for teaching... Multiple connectivity options for pc. I have tested it to connect from pc using - USB, HDMI, VGA and AV ports... And it can be connected using wifi lan module... Great product in it's segment and COST. Very clear and bright. Excellent service by Amazon.
