Takes some time to soak but good product!
These pens worked great for marking my cross stitch fabric while doing a VERY complicated pattern. I will admit I was a little worried they wouldn't come out, but after making an error (everything got shifted ten stitches...my bad, not the pens'!), I soaked the whole project for a couple hours, and it was clean as a whistle. These definitely don't work quite like other embroidery markers (like the light blue one) that comes out almost immediately upon contact with water, but with soaking, it was terrific.

Great washable pens
These pens are really vibrant, flow out of the pen nice, if you let them soak for a while they will wash out without leaving any marks behind! However none of the yellow pens/ refills i got worked but I think the price and the amount I got for the others makes it worth it.

Glad I took the chance
I am a quilter. Once these pens arrived, I was skeptical, so I ran a test before using. I am used to the Clover water soluble, which disappears right away. This is not that. But after soaking fo several hours, the marks are completely gone. A couple of colours (especially yellow) leave a slight residue when still wet, but invisible once fully dried. These mark clean & smooth like a good quality gel pen, and with 2 refills for each colour, it's a great deal.

Love them
They are great for marking my stitch working my large works. Helps tremendously! Just wish the ink didn’t come out so fast, has a tendency to leave HUGE blots. Bat as someone who works large patterns it’s a huge help.

Do not iron!
I was hoping these pens would work for garment sewing. Unfortunately, the heat from an iron sets the ink and keeps it from washing out completely, so they won't work for my purposes. As long as you don't iron the fabric before washing out the ink, it washes out in the washing machine. A quick hand washing didn't get the ink out. All of the colors washed out the same. I haven't tested these extensively, but I would assume that like all of the other pens and markers I've tried, the ink is more likely to leave stains the longer it sits on your fabric, so wash it out as soon as possible. I would suggest washing in cold water, since heat sets the ink. Definitely test them yourself before using them on something important! Also "water erasable" refers to markers that have ink that chemically reacts with water and disappears when wet. These are just washable pens, not water erasable pens.

Marker Didn’t Wash Out, Ruined Quilt
These fabric markers are supposed to come out after soaking w/ water. Some did. Some did not. (See pic after 3 attempts.) i don’t know yet if I can get it out w/ other products. If not, it’s ruined an appliquéd quilt I’ve worked on for many hours. I won’t use them again. Ever.

Very disappointed
Did not come off with water, in my experience.

I love these pens.
I almost didn’t do a review because I don’t want everyone to know how amazing these pens are and have them sell out. Seriously. I keep finding more and more positive things to add to my already high opinion. Here are the reasons I love them: -The colors are bright and clean. -They really wash out. Really. Like, gone. I have heavy lines and they still wash/rinse out. -They last longer than expected. I use them pretty often and I have not had to replace the ink yet. -They come with ink refills. These are my favorite pens. So, you can read my review and know how great they are, but you are not allowed to make them sell out! Haha.
