The best rosin out of my collection of rosins
I have been trying out many different brands of cello rosin and the "Hidersine VP-036C Series VI Bow Rosin" is the best rosin for having the ultimate grip and really brings out the sound quality of a cello. I highly recommend this rosin on your next purchase of rosin.

Came with white not red cloth
Came with white cloth not red. Works fine, sounds good…just surprised me a bit, but nothing but love.

Great grip
I've tried several rosins for my cello. I find I have to put less weight into the bow to get the same sound when using this rosin and less frequently get a "false" note. I recommend tightening your bow just a tad extra so that the added grip doesn't delay the starting action. I prefer my bow a bit tighter anyway as it seems to make transitions and starts smoother. As a qualification, I'm quite amateur. It is nice to use a rosin specifically intended for Cello.

Great rosin
Wow, love this rosin! More “grippy” than the lighter one I used previously. Improves my instrument sound quite a bit. I live in California where the weather’s hot and dry most of the year, this seems to be perfect for my climate.
