It's a dark blue colored ink that is comfortable for me to read. It writes smoothly. Waterman Ink cartridges are relatively large and last a good while. Just remember, as a "washable" ink you need to make sure not to drip water, coffee, etc on your page.

This is crucial when drafting intricate schematics about how im going to mop the floors, or annotating technical drawings of where i mopped all the floors, and where all the kids at the school I worked at puked everywhere; where accuracy is non-negotiable. The ink's controlled flow minimizes the risk of blots or smudges, maintaining the clarity of the documentation; Its pretty good flow wise but i feel this depends on your pen more than ink. Its fine, if youre curious get it.
