Sal Gabrini Five: Until You Come Back To Me (The Sal Gabrini Series)

I did not believe I would like this series. BUT I do, Sal is hot and lovable. Gemma is sexy and smart. They are good together. The plot is good. There is a lot of killing and sex in these books with a plot twist. I am still reading this series. I have to stop and write a review, before I read the next book. Let the advantage begin…

Sal is the man! Reno and Trina may cast doubt that Sal loves Gem, Sal disproves this time and time again. Ok, Sal does lay a foundation to create that doubt by, disappearing constantly, hiring all blonde, beautiful bimbos to work in his office--his pre-Gem-type woman and forgetting Gem's birthday....but, when Gem needs Sal, he drops everything and is there! He does not let anyone disrespect her and walk or even limp away....He does keep secrets about his mob things, but that's a plus too. Sal is protecting his woman by keeping her as clean and circumspect from the criminal aspects of his life---Sal is not planning on taking his Gem down should he be caught. I love that about Sal! ...And Gem better keep putting EVERYBODY in their place when they diss Sal!....I found Tommy's response interesting when it was suggested he pull Liz back home to be protected while Gem was still kidnapped...Tommy said Liz could take care of herself---hmmm, could the magic be gone for Tommy in regards to Liz....Usually when something happens to any of the Gabrini family, the men circle the wagons around their loved ones. I enjoyed that Sal and Reno were working together without Tommy's assistance on finding Gem....but, I was happy when Tommy came into the picture to add balance....And also, the tight brotherly bond between Tommy and Sal is so heartwarming.....The remarks that Reno keeps making about Gem's attractiveness...I see Reno as doing some teasing or rather tugging the tiger's tail when he says it to Sal. Lol...I think he does it to subtly....well maybe subtle is not word---since it's Reno! But anyway, he is basically telling Sal that Gem is a very desirable woman and not to be taken for granted....Enjoyed this installment immensely Miss Monroe----and one question: The nod to Dutch-- pipe incident--Was that a subtle hint that we may soon have a Dutch and Gina book headed our way? Gina and Dutch could probably use a vacation say at the PaLargio....Just a thought. : )

Another hit out the park for Ms Monroe and mob series. I love that each book is a stand alone but incorporates past characters and allows readers of the series to catch up with old friends. It is brilliantly executed and keeps you coming back for more. I loved the complex depth of her Sal's character and his deep love and devotion to Gemma. I was hoping for babies for this couple but I guess I must wait until the next installment. I would have easily given it five stars but felt it was more drama than loving. The love scenes were rushed and not indicative of the intensity associated with Sal and Gemma who by the way are my favorite

I loved the latest Sal Gabrini installment. It took the nasty taste of Tommy Gabrini 4 out of my mouth. Until I read the last installment of Sal and Gemma, I thought I would have to give up on one of my favorite authors. I love re-reading Ms Malone books and now can't bring myself to reading the first three Tommy Gabrini books because I had become so accustomed to the enduring love between the men and their women where they stuck together no matter what to defeat outside sources of trouble. Tommy and Grace's split with no hope of getting back together makes me no longer interested in his love life and therefore not interested in whatever happens to him because at this point I wouldn't believe his declaration of love with anyone to be lasting. Liz makes TRUE LOVE #3 for Tommy in a relatively short time. Feels like I should demand my money back for the first three Tommy books. The latest Gabrini book, The President's Girlfriend, and so far, the Sinatras are keeping me faithful to Mallory Monroe. I begin looking for another installment of her books around the middle of the month and hope I don't have to stop because I love her other books that are not series, so when they end I assume the couples will be together forever. (a forever happy ending is why I read romantic books where couples overcome obstacles to their happiness and ride off into the sunset together). Sal Gabrini five did not disappoint so I enjoyed it especially after the last Tommy book and will start looking for the next book in a couple of weeks.

Loved Sal as usual, he is that man. I love his straight talking and he doesn't pull any punches when it comes to his Gemma. I loved the twist and turns and of course the punishment that is due to the person who dares cross a Gabrini. My only issue is that why Sal, Reno, and Tommy don't have someone watching their family. I would think after this has happened more than once, that you would have some sort of security detail. Anyway loved the book and can't wait for the next installment.

What can I say, a lot apparently! Ms Monroe does not disappoint in her latest installment Gabrini men. I love how Sal does not back down from anyone and I am so convinced of his love for Gemma and hers for him. I didn't trust that shady Ted or Rory from the get go and I was waiting for Sal to rain down justice on both of them. Gemma's parents especially her father Rodney made me want to just whip him. They need to leave Sal alone., Gemma made her choice and she chose Sal Luca. Sal has got to get rid of all those females once and for all or I believe it will come back to bite him in his butt. Glad to see Tommy is on the mend and glad Reno and Tree are still doing well. This book was action packed, fast paced and never a dull moment with Sal and Gemma. Can hardly wait for the next books.

Mallory all of your books are so amazing . I never regretted purchasing your books. Well you did it again this book is 10/10 . Will recommend it to anyone over eighteen years.

The latest book in the Sal and Gemma's story. I am loving this couple. I love everything about them. Its them against the world including the in-laws who just keep on thinking the worse of Sal even when he saves their asses. Well they get put straight in this book. I felt Sal's distress when he just kept on turning up dead ends and then his wife rescuers her own self. Everybody is blaming Sal and it turns out it was nothing that he did wrong. I loved how he could show his emotions about his wife and I was so glad when he took care of both those two jokers. We saw Sal's dark side in this book. Gemma showed that she can be a bad-ass and does whatever it takes to get the job done. They are exactly right for each other and I could read about them forever!!! Loved it!

This book's a real winner. Once again a really superb read and allows you to fall deeper in love with the wonderful Sal Gabrini. His love for Grace leaps off the page, she's in danger and he will move heaven and earth to protect her. Grace is no slouch she can handle her business secure in Sal's love for her. Sal forefills every women's fantasy, can't wait for the next instalment of life with Sal and Grace and possibly a little one, maybe twins so we can watch Sal change as he adjust to becoming a father.

I love this series and it brings the fire every time! There's always someone messing with the Gabrini clan! When will they ever learn? Hopefully never so I can continue reading about them. Sal is still my favorite but I love having them all together can't wait to see what happens next. Until then peace love and happy reading y'all.

I Iove Sal and Gemma they are a great solid couple together. No matter what goes on with them or around them and the family they stick together like glue. I recommend reading their story of relationship and bonding together through trial and patience.
