Wordly Wise, Book A

I like the format of the book. I’m using it with my 1st grader. My one complaint is a few of the vocabulary word choices...pickpocket, holster, dagger for example. They just seem odd words to focus on particularly for this age range. But overall we enjoy using this book.

The book arrived with pages falling out and badly beaten up. But Seemed as if it was just the first few pages however after working through it some we have now come to realize it is not a complete book at all. pages 13-18 are missing. Very unhappy with this purchase. I should have gone to barnes and noble :(

I love the exercises provided to reinforce vocabulary. The describing words are read with some help for the first reading by a second grader.

I loved these books growing up and I am so excited to get to use them with my daughter

We are a homeshool family on Sonlight curriculum. My child is in 2nd grade this year. Sonlight suggested Wordly Wise as a vocabulary aide. I must admit, she really enjoys this book and is learning vocab/comprehension with ease!

Highly recommend for any homeschool moms!

Good book for kids age 5-7.
