## Description

About Us - desertcart.com Music

Review: Five Stars - Had this album in the 70's. Ian Lloyd and Robert Plant are two of my favorites.
Review: It's the singer AND the song - No one ever mentions Michael Brown's unique way of putting together a band or choosing band members. Listen to them all-Left Banke, Stories, Montage, Beckies. There is similarity in all the music, but also in the singers that he chooses. I read a review here that said that The Beckies were had by a fat singer with glasses. maybe, but Scott Trusty had the vocal quality that Michael wanted. Go back for a listen and check this out. Of course all Brown's projects are excellent.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "ABOUT US" BY STORIES LP
*by D***R on May 30, 2021*

"ABOUT US" BY STORIES TRACK LISTING : SIDE 1: (1) DARLING (2) DON'T EVER LET ME DOWN (3) LOVE IS IN MOTION (4) HEY FRANCE (5) PLEASE , PLEASE SIDE 2: (1) CHANGES HAVE BEGUN (2) CIRCLES (3) BELIEVE ME (4) WORDS (5) TOP OF THE CITY (6) DOWN TIME BLOOZE (7) WHAT COMES AFTER (8) BROTHER LOUIE This is the album that contained the hit song "BROTHER LOUIE" , which was NOT initially on the first issues of the album and was put on it as an afterthought. This album is apparently NOT ON CD but is on a 2 for 1 ("STORIES / ABOUT US" ). "BROTHER LOUIE" broke the group up as the song went to # 1 !! and the group did want to go into that direction. NOTE: " BROTHER LOUIE" is the LAST SONG on side 2 !!
