Are these Das Original?

These are the original strong or salty licorice I fell in love with when I lived in Germany. These are my very favorite!

How many calories in each piece?

Hallo! To give you a better idea I opened a bag (unfortunately now we can not sell them, so i have to eat em all :-) ) and a bag of 150g - 5.29oz contains 28 single wrapped licorice pieces.619 kcal for 150 means roughly 22kcal per piece - sometime there are one more or less. Is this the 150g bag or is it a smaller size?

Yes what we sell here is the 159g. We also have 750g bags available on Amazon.

Is this gluten free? Does it contain wheat?

There is no wheat or other grain ingredient. It is not labeled as gluten free though. The company also makes a product with wheat flour.
