RESCUE! Outdoor Fly Trap - Reusable - 3 Traps

I have a few dogs at my home, I feel that I am studious and careful when it comes to me scooping my dogs bowel movements. Sadly I have noticed my many neighbors are not, and as such, I find that we all have a very serious vector issue - flies. Originally I used a fly swatter, and although I became quite proficient with hitting the little boogers, I felt that as I was simply spitting in the wind and not capturing what I needed. Ultimately I graduated to the bug-a-salt, a fun device that uses salt to eliminate the problem, but once again, the safety and efficacy of the device left me wanting for more. Finally I purchased the disposable version of this unit, and although I noticed a quick and substantive decrease in flies, I felt that throwing the containers away was a waste. I have been buying these containers for the past 4 years, and have found that they last about two years before they become to fragile and begin leaking the fly attractant and smelling up the place. THe ability to fill these and simply set them out by far has the easiest use of all the devices used, they capture the majority of adult and most junior flies, and contain them with no issues, I typically empty them out every month, wash them clean and refill with attractant and water. THis only leaves me the issue of refilling water during the hotter months. As far as the device is concerned, the attractant has a very pungent odor, one that mimics the smell of an out house, the attractant itself is not sticky, but does stain the skin with odor if allowed to spill on you. I personally use gloves, and this prevents me from taking the odor with me. I strongly recommend this device and would encourage anyone experiencing flies to try this, the only caveat (besides what I listed on handling), would be not to use indoors or near spaces that you frequent/sit at, as the attractant is very foul smelling and the flies tend to stay near the device until they are caught.

What impressed me most is how effective it is at attracting flies. Within a short time of setting it up, I noticed a significant number of flies being drawn into the trap. It uses a bait that flies can’t resist, and once they get in, they can’t escape. One important thing to know: the smell is very strong. It’s definitely not something you want near your home, patio, or anywhere you spend a lot of time. Make sure to place it at a distance and keep it out of reach of kids and pets. The odor is actually part of what makes it so effective. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone struggling with outdoor fly issues.

Not even 24 hrs later and theres so many flies and gnats in there. Smells nasty so put it away from your doors but works amazingly. Have not seen a single fly in my house since putting this out!! Will be buying more, highly recommend

This product works great at attracting and killing flies! The smell that they talk about just smells like death. But it really attracts flies! I’ve got one hanging up in my Chicken area in the shade of a tree and I’ve not had any flies in that area so far this year. I had to hang two up in my barn because I get so many flies in there. My first one filled up with flies in like less than two weeks.

The trap works and there are definitely fewer flies outside after using it. It was easy to set up and the results were noticeable pretty quickly. I’m taking off one star because the smell is very strong and unpleasant. It’s better to place it farther from the house. But overall, it does the job well

Worked immediately. It attracts flies, catches them, and keeps them in there. Easy screw on lid, jar type catcher, doesn’t tip easily. You cannot smell the trap. Flies cannot get out. Stays upright in a busy outdoor environment.

Honestly, too effective. We are using it on the back deck. There are so many flies in this thing right now that I feel like I need to call a priest. It’s like the plagues of Egypt in this thing. It does smell but the radius for flies seems to be the size of my entire neighborhood so just move it away from sitting areas and you’ll be fine. Won’t attach a photo because it is truly too disgusting.

The flies went immediately were attracted to the trap. The first day the trap caught so many flies. It’s been the thirds day and we barely have any flies flying around when we use to have hundreds. I would recommend this product to anyone. I love how you don’t have to hang the jar and it’s super durable. The smell can get to you so do not have it anywhere near you when you’re outside. In the picture there are hundreds of dead flies. Easy instructions!

I live on an acreage in cattle country. There are more flies here than blades of grass. These traps work so well that they fill up in a few weeks with thousands of flies. Flies love them so much that they are now calling and making reservations! Just hang them far away from where you hang out in your yard. There's a good reason (smell) why flies are drawn to them!!
