Does this fit the 2019 new iMacs? I’m seeing reviews that says it doesn’t

Just got one of these for a 2019 iMac and it works great. Screws that were included were of sufficient length.

Can this mount adaptor lower the screen display or just raise it?

This unit just works to give you a very solid VESA mount. You then need to get a wall attachment "arm" and depending on which one you get you can raise, lower, tilt and swing your iMac in any configuration. The wall mount that I have only will allow me to tilt, swivel and move along a horizontal plane. There are wall mounts that will allow you to raise and lower as well. Good luck!

Q: I'm trying to mount my 27" imac (late 2013) but the stand that comes with the imac isn't sturdy enough and it droops down. how can i fix this?
