Farberware Classic Stainless Steel Sauce Pan/Saucepan with Lid, 3 Quart, Silver

This sauce pan is amazing! Great quality, and great price. Lightweight, yet very durable stainless steel. I've used to make rice, boil potatoes, and make cream of wheat cereal, and it is perfect for all tasks. It is comparable in price with much cheaper knock-off brands, and the Farberware quality shines through. Easy to clean, and I love that it came with a stainless steel lid. These are the only lids I use - I've seen the "tempered" glass ones crack and even shatter right over the food, or in dishwater, making them very unsafe. But you can never go wrong with a stainless steel lid that will last forever. Great buy! Very satisfied!

I have owned this same dounle boiler for years. The pot works well and the handle stays cool. It's a durable pot and looks nice. It is great for making eggs Benedict sauce or nelting chocolate. I bought this for my daughter for her birthday because she was having trouble making sauces without them breaking or curdling.

A light weight but sturdy pan. It is very useful and I like the fact that it is a good size but easy to handle. Not for high heat though

This pot did not disappoint! Just like all of the Farberware products which I have used over the years, this pot performs excellently. It is a great height and you can depend on the heat to be distributed evenly. Easy to clean and perfectly balanced. I highly recommend this pot.

I purchased the Farberware Classic Stainless Series 2-Quart Covered Double Boiler and, functionally, it is exactly what I was looking for. Performance & Quality The pot itself is very nice. It feels sturdy, looks classic, and works exactly as it should. The stainless steel heats evenly, and the 2-quart size is perfect for melting chocolate, making custards, or preparing delicate sauces without scorching them. It’s a reliable addition to the kitchen that feels like it will last a long time. Packaging Observations The only downside was the way it arrived. Instead of the standard Farberware retail box, the double boiler was simply placed in a plastic bag and then inside a standard Amazon shipping box. It felt a bit "weird" and led me to suspect it might have been a previous return rather than a brand-new retail unit. Pros: High-quality stainless steel construction. Works perfectly for delicate cooking tasks. Classic design that matches other Farberware pieces. Cons: Disappointing packaging (arrived in a plastic bag rather than a box). Bottom Line: If you can get past the odd packaging, the product itself is excellent and does its job perfectly.

Easy to boil 8-12 eggs, large chicken breasts 3 -4. Nice deep pan. I make mashed potatoes in it too. Light weight makes it easier to handle and drain etc. Easy to store. Cleans easily and well.

Perfecta, justo lo que buscaba y esperaba para la cocción de la papilla para mi bebé. Es pequeña y cumple a la perfección la función para la que la compré. Después podré usarla para calentar pequeñas porciones de comida, calentar leche, etc. Se ve y se sienten de buena calidad los materiales. La recomiendo para quienes buscan una olla pequeña para diversos usos.

the first time we used the pot there were several spots on the bottom that never clean off.

good quality material however due to the small bumps on the fry pan surface clean up is very difficult. unable to get in between them even with scrub pads

The full set were okay but I will not recommend if you prefer a sturdy handle, mine broke after 3months seems like it is defective
