## Questions & Answers

**Q: What's the difference between this sharpener and the one that comes in a blister pack and costs a little more?**
A: Not sure that I can answer that. I can tell you that is the best sharpener for colored pencils that I have found. I also found out that if you sharpen colored pencils in any sharpener, follow up with sharpening a regular graphite pencil....it removes the wax and sharpens the blades.....

**Q: Does this work with the albertch durer watercolor Faber Castell pencils?**
A: Oddly, even the slot marked "colour grip" seems too small for my Albrecht Durers. You'd think since it's all the same company they could make it fit. I can sharpen them in the giant hole on the "universal" side, though that's actually too big, so you have to be careful about holding the pencil straight.

**Q: Does this work well with colored pencils?**
A: I have mostly Prismacolor pencils (Verithin) and love the Faber-Castell Trio sharpener for them.  My calligraphy instructor recommended it and it works wonderfully for colored pencils and is supposedly better for them than an electric sharpener.  It's compact and works well!

**Q: Does this sharpen triangular pencil ?**
A: No it doesn’t sharpen Magic triangular pencils.
