How many cups can you put in one bag?

I did not use for food. I made cat toys and put them in these bags for gifts. Made a great presentation. As far as candy I would say about 3 cups.

Is the bag more of a rigid plastic or can you easily tie a ribbon to close them as opposed to a twist tie?

You can easily tie a ribbon to close.
