Orbit 58543 Telescoping Gutter Cleaning Wand, Silver

Had a waterfall coming from the middle of my gutter so looked for a ladder less option and found this product. It worked very well. Tons of dirt washed away. This is for small jobs only not maintenance. Don’t wait until your gutters look like the Amazon and expect this to remove everything in 5 minutes.

This tool worked to blast oak tree leaves and dirt out of the gutter. I can reach the gutters on the lower level of the house with the telescoping rod and the nozzle angles to shoot water down the gutter, in a direction parallel to the ground. Most of the dirt comes down the downspout but if the leaves clog the entrance I can adjust the nozzle and blast them down. The tool does not work well to remove wads of pine needles; it just moves them along and they wad up. Even so, that is better than using the ladder and a trowel because with this tool I only need to get the needles at one location for each stretch of gutter, usually at the location where the gutter aligns with the downspout. Even with those limits, the tool cuts my gutter cleaning time by more than half.

It makes the dreaded task so much easier and safer. The telescoping feature means I can clean my ranch house gutters from the ground—no ladders, no back pain. No assembly required! It’s super durable and feels very sturdy. The water pressure it delivers is impressive, blasting away debris effortlessly. I also love that you can adjust the nozzle direction and the pressure switch at the bottom is a nice touch. Super easy to attach to the hose and very practical. Honestly, this is a solid piece of equipment that makes a typically annoying chore surprisingly satisfying. Great quality, super effective, and absolutely worth the money.

Works ok. Not enough angle or power to get the leaves out of the end. It will push them down to the end. That's nice because it means fewer ladder trips. I still have to climb up the ladder with a regular hose nozzle to blast the leaves out. But it saves moving the ladder 10 or so times.

I love this thing! Quality and function. With that said, as a potential consumer, let me just tell you it's a bit tricky to get use to using. The biggest would the the torque when it's fully extended. Meaning, the longer you have it extended the more torque the water pressure will be and makes it more challenging to control. Great water pressure BTW. Think of it as a rocket at the end of a long pole. Your hand placement on the wand will be key, keep them apart vs together. Trying to keep the water angled along the gutter and moving/sliding the wand along the gutter can get a bit tricky. Big tip is not to stand directly under it, but rather angle the end of the wand away from where you're standing. Try 30-45* to your left or right before turning on the water, and walk in the direction of the end. It'll save you from splashing the stuff in your gutters onto you. The switch to turn on and off the water on the wand is not the best design eighter. Not a trigger, but rather a turning nob, which makes it tricky to turn off while the water is on. Aside from those minor issues, I would still recommend it. Makes gutter cleaning so fast. Messy, but fast!

Cleaned the underside of my 4 x 4 with this after sand driving on the beach. Worked extremely well. Very impressed. Then cleaned gutters and it worked just as well.

A very useful product that is slightly let down by a leaky hose attachment. The downpipe on my gutters was blocked and this was able to blast the blockage away easily and also wash any remaining dirt from within the gutter itself. The product feels well made but unfortunately the valve that the hose attaches to leaks quite a bit so you may end up getting soaked. This may not be the fault of the product itself, more so the market it's being sold in. This is a US product that uses a US standard 3/4 thread that is slightly different to the standard used in the UK and Europe. I was able to remove most of the leak by wrapping the threads with PTFE tape, so I would still recommend this product.
