can the serum be used under the cream and makeup at the same time?

The most effective approach is the cream under makeup and the serum at night. If you apply the serum first you have to wait until it absorbs completely before applying the cream.

Is this a temporary fix or long lasting for fine lines and wrinkles?

I don't think any cream will be a permanent "fix" for fine lines and wrinkles. I just know that this product does work as well as any cream that I have previously used. It has quality ingredients without a lot of the chemical of other products and I think it is very good for the price.

How does the ascorbic acid stay stable in this clear bottle?

Our understanding is that once included in this particular formulation and bottled in frosted glass the Vitamin C is stable.

can you use a face cream over it...under make up or just use the the liquid Lanolin

I love this product. After applying it and letting it settle into my skin for a few minutes I follow it with Lanoline face cream... can't remember the exact name... but it has a slight rose fragrance. There is also another fragrance, or ingredient combination, available in the skin cream. I also use the Lanoline eye cream. Again, I love these products and get a dewy glow even though I live in the dry climate of New Mexico.
