Just installed these. Wow, what a great sound. Solid Bass, and really clear on the mid range and high end sound. Great price too.

I love them very loud as I was not expecting but I am very pleased with these speakers could not have went with any other choice but these will be buying more.

We bought a set of these to add to the back of our boat. The other speakers we have are in the boat and to hear them when you're in the water you have to blare them. That's okay but if you're in the boat you can't talk to someone in the water and vice versa. We added these little babies and that's no longer a problem. Plus it's nice when other boats around are blaring music we don't want our little one hearing. The speakers are pretty good. The look really nice and have good sound to them. The only knock on them is that they do distort with higher volume where the speakers in the boat do not. They're a little smaller though and we don't turn them up like that normally but that's why I gave them four stars instead of five. I was a little concerned when I first ran the wiring and hooked them up to test them. They didn't sound like they had any bass at all but now that they're mounted in the boat, they sound much richer. To mount them, I cut two holes using a 4.25" hole saw. You'd probably be safe using a 4.5" but since I was cutting two big holes in our boat, I thought I'd play it safe and go with the smaller saw. I did have to do some filing to get them seated in there properly but it wasn't a big deal. Then of course I drilled pilot holes for the mounting screws. A little marine sealant around the outer edge and there you have it. We've been out a few times with them now and we love them. It's so much nicer having those speakers on the back. They are exposed to the elements while it's in storage and of course they get water on them at the lake, but we haven't had any issues there either. The way we look at it, even if they only last a year or two the cost is low enough we could buy new ones and not sweat it. I don't think that'll be a problem though.

Replaced old and damaged boat speakers with these. They sound great and aren't that expensive. Work well for me.

Bought these to replace the "buzzing" external speakers on my camper. I had bought another set of Pyles as well about 3 years ago to replace the internal speakers, and had been quite pleased with them. These are a little thicker than the OEM ones, so make sure you have the mounting clearance. Sound is great (just like the other set) and has survived numerous rains so far.

Works. They sound good. Great price. But I think I’m gonna return these and order something a little heavier. They distort when there up really high, and forget any bass or treble. Gotta turn that down or you can’t even tell what you’re listening to. For mid level music volume, they sound great. But when I’m in the water and want to turn it up, it’s impossible to enjoy. I think I’m gonna spend about double or more on some nicer 6.5s or maybe some 8” so I can hear more bass.

Installed today in Bennington Tri toon. Writing review on the water. Replaced old stock speakers. Got (2) of the 2- packs. Had to change (-) terminal ends to larger ones, old speakers had smaller (-) terminal ends. Quick install, already had installed a Pyle head unit couple years back. HUGE upgrade from stock speakers! Have an old amp was going to push them with, and I’m sure they’d do better with it based on the reviews I’ve read, but we’re definitely happy with how they sound even without an amp. Doubt I’ll mess with the amp, sounds great, very clear, no distortion. Would recommend Will see how waterproof they are, we don’t cover the boat so they’re definitely going to get wet Cheers & tight lines
