China i am fairly sure, its really good quality. We have a set that's been heavily used in a commercial bar for 4 years now and its going strong, looks brilliant still as well !

Might be a stupid question but how do you secure the two jugs together to shake?

One is smaller than the other and you smash them together and it holds. Try searching for a cocktail making video to see how a bartender does it. They pop one on top of the other. Pushes them together, shakes, then sometimes you need to tap it against the table top to loosen. I love my cocktail shaker. It’s good quality.
