I have two adorable cats. I bought this item when I first got them about 15 years ago, and I use it every day for quick loose litter pickup after cleaning their box. It's also good for freshening up the inside of your car. It needs replacing every 4 years on average. I keep buying the same one. It's well worth the price, and I'm glad it is still being made. It's a proven product that is reliable and useful. As long as it's never discontinued, I will keep buying the same one as needed.

Awesome vacuum, I love it! Powerful, lightweight, easy to hold, charges fast, looks cute in its charger. Been using this for a couple months and I have no problems at all with charging or battery power. I looked at a lot of vacuums and I'm glad I chose this one. Nozzle and limited attachments are pretty small so I would only recommend it for small spaces and spills. The brush is nice for getting hair and dust off my carpet. Is it loud? Yes, it's a vacuum cleaner.

I used the BLACK+DECKER dustbuster AdvancedClean Handheld Vacuum Cordless over the weekend, and overall I was really impressed with how well it performed. It has strong suction for its size and made quick work of small messes around the house and in the car. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and very convenient for those quick cleanups. My only complaint is the battery life—I just wish it lasted a bit longer between charges. For small tasks, it’s perfect, but for extended use, you’ll likely need to recharge sooner than expected. Still, despite the battery limitation, it works really well and delivers solid performance for the price. A great little vacuum to have on hand.

Great and powerful! I had another brand, but this Black & Decker is much more powerful! My daughter has one she loves, so I ordered this one. I LOVE IT! If you have had an influx of ladybugs in your house, this is the tool for you! I was also able to suck up a couple angry wasps. I use it exclusively for bug removal. It is fast and oh so powerful. NOTICE: When I carefully unpacked it and read the “manual” it said there was a cloth filter included…I did not see it anywhere. My calls to B&D resulted in 15 minutes on hold and no help. Aggravated, I ordered a set of washable filters from Amazon. They arrived speedily and when I went to put one on, it was then I discovered the cloth filter!😳 So be aware the included cloth filter is located UNDER the “plastic pre-filter.” Sort of strange…my daughter’s older model had the cloth filter OVER the blue one. I’m telling you about this so you’ll know. The cloth filter is there, it’s just hidden. The manual isn’t very explanatory but is full of **bold letter** WARNINGs. I’m very happy with my purchase. It is a very strong vac….as others have noted it is very very loud. It is easy to charge, a delight to use and accomplishes the task, whether it be bug or dirt removal. I love it and you will too!

I am an organic gardener in a hostile land roamed by plant devouring bugs and pests. The nemesis of every gardener here, organic or not, is the stink bug. Conventional farmers spray their crops half to death fighting this enemy while organic farmers and gardeners get creative. I purchased the Black & Decker CHV1410L 16 volt Lithium Cordless Dust Buster Hand Vac as part of my 2 part stink bug eradication strategy. So far, it works great! Early in the squash season (summer squash and zucchini are the stink bug’s favorite prey) I lift stink bug eggs from the leaves of my plants with duct tape. Inevitably however, stink bug babies emerge from the egg clusters I miss and begin killing my plants. (Rabbits could learn about rapid reproduction from the stink bug.) In defense of my helpless plants this year, I started vacuuming stink bugs from my plants every day and flushing them down the toilet. I pull hundreds of the horrible death creatures from my garden every day thanks to my Dust Buster! WHAT IS IN THE BOX: One hand held cordless Dust Buster vacuum and charging base. The vacuum operates on a lithium battery which is included. WHAT I LIKE: The battery on this hand held vacuum lasts longer than I do. I almost always give out before I burn through the battery. I can suck up lots of stink bugs before I have to empty the vacuum. Emptying the vacuum chamber is simple. The “quick” empty normally allows me to get rid of all the bugs, but when I have a stubborn batch, I can get at them from the filter side of the chamber as well. The reusable filter washes up easily under running water. I love not having to worry about a cord!!! An organic farmer friend told me he uses a shop vac to eradicate his stink bug population, but I don’t have an outlet anywhere near my garden. I love being able to leave the vacuum on the charger at all times without destroying the battery. I always have full power available. WHAT I DON’T LIKE: I really wish this vacuum exerted strong enough pressure to kill the bugs as I sucked them into it. I hate dealing with live bugs when cleaning the chamber. VIDEO: I am including a video demonstrating how well this hand held vacuum sucks bugs off my plants and even the debris covered ground. This is a great little vacuum. It does a great job sucking up stink bugs as they cling to leaves and straw and I can only imagine how great it would be at cleaning up stuff that doesn’t resist being sucked into it. Definitely a great purchase!

I love this, it's so handy. Ok so it's not the most powerful thing on the planet but it's ideal for those little jobs where you don't need a full sized vacuum such as pet kibble, pet hairs, crumbs etc. It's simple to use, so easy to carry around - it doesn't weigh much at all making it ideal for wandering around the house getting small bits daily. Ours is still working perfectly after a year, still charges no problem, so durability is great!!! It's comfortable to hold and carry around, has a great suction speed and picks up all the bits you want it to. It has a little brush part that you flip round the nozzle when you need to sweep crumbs/hairs etc. I would definitely recommend and buy again if i needed to.

The vacuum is pretty loud but does a good job. I have to clean my 1 year old play area the kitchen and hallway daily. didn't want to plug in big vacuum over n over in different areas. It's been a life saver. Grateful and 1 full charge last like 6 times for me so far. Get it if you have lil ones that play on carpet

Not only does this vacuum have suction power, it is available to use on demand with the supplied charging station. I love the fact it always is charged. After using it I just put it back on its charging cradle and it's available for next time without connecting charging cables. Great value!

I love this Dust Buster ordered it as the 12 volt model which I already have seems to be no longer available. The only problem when it arrived was that it came with a USA/Canada two prong charger base and not the three pin which we use here in the UK, so I had to purchase the adapter suitable for USA/Canada appliances.

The use of the vacuum cleaner is simple. It is light weight and do a nice job. The charging is also easy.
