I bought these for my truck but was in denial of installing them after reading reviews but got some tips from YouTube on the correct way to install them and I’m glad I kept them these sound amazing perfect sound more than expected for those reviews that said they didn’t sound good I don’t no what you were expecting

I bought these speakers because they had a good price and high watts, I like to play my music LOUD every once and a while and so I wanted to make sure that the speakers won't blow out on me like my last ones did, well first off these speakers sound great, it has a crisp sound that doesn't get all muffled when you turn the volume up, second they give off a pretty good little bump for not having an amp attached and just running off the radio, the price was a reason i was skeptical about these being good speakers, but they've been working very well for the week that i've been "testing" them out, a set back was that these speakers didn't fit like amazon says they would, i had four 6.5inch speakers in my car that were factory speakers, when i took the two back ones up and lined these up with the holes i found them to be slightly too small for the back, when trying to match them up with the front speakers which sit in my doors they looked to match up better but i wasn't about to take my door panels off my car in this cold ass weather and since the weather outlook wasn't too good i wanted to get my speakers in right away so i kinda ghetto fied the speakers into the back where two of the screws line up but the third one is slightly too far and the fourth one i had to put the screw on the outside of the speaker just to make sure it would move or rattle, i have a 95 camaro and i'm deciding later to get slightly bigger speakers and put them in the back and switch these to the front, also i think i read that someone said these light up blue? i'm not sure if i read that right but these don't seem to light up, they still look good though and sound great, overall i would recommend these to someone looking for good speakers for a good price but just make sure you really measure up before getting these to see if they're the right size

So after reading the other reviews here on Amazon, I decided to try these speakers out. I wasn't looking to have my mind blown but I was looking forward to something better than the 20 year old speakers that were completely dried up in my existing car. And thats exactly what I got...Better speakers than what I had. For the money, you honestly can't complain but these speakers are not ideal for any type of LOUD music. The mid-level frequencies get CRUSHED under any substantial load. Base response is practically zilch but when combined with a subwoofer, they are actually not that bad. I have no idea what Pyle does to rate their speakers but ... 360watts is absolutely a farce. The magnet on each speaker is TINY. The 20 year old Pioneers that came with my car had way bigger magnets. Not that magnets are the whole story but sheesh. When I opened these new out of the box, I was starting to worry at the size of the magnet. In the end, these speakers are capable of being loud when coupled with an amp, but don't expect too much tonal clarity - especially in the mid range. You would think a 3-way speaker would have a decent mid but these do not. Everything gets crushed and requires you to EQ the center band. If you have a 5 band EQ, you might get away with it but anything else will be limited with regards to the audio output. So three stars for these guys because they do what you want for the money but in the long run, you will be throwing them out after some use. They got me out of an audio bind in the car as well as a financial bind with the wife but honestly, you are better off saving up another $40 and dropping the money on some way better speakers.

I got these speakers for my '97 Lexus ES300. My factory speakers were literally falling apart in the car. I bought 4 speakers to replace all the ones in the doors. First of all--these speakers are meant for the front two doors of my car--the holes for the back speakers are smaller, so perhaps a set of 6" speakers or 6.3" speakers would work better. I had to screw the back ones in to get them to stay, and then the factory grill had to be removed and replaced with the Pyle grill (which looks kind of cool, but also kind of weird at the same time considering the Lexus speaker grill is not a perfect circle). The Pyle grill comes in two parts, and the actual grill parts falls out from time to time, so I'll need to glue it in for it to stay...No big deal since I rarely have people in the backseat. The front speakers fit perfectly inside the hole in the door, so the speaker doesn't stick out and the factory grill can be used. They've been in my car for a couple months now, and I admit they're amazing for the price. Very good sound, clear, loud, little to no buzzing (though you can pretty clearly hear the sound of the entire car rattling when the bass booms). There don't appear to be adverse effects as a result of screwing the speakers into the door, which is wonderful. I have an aftermarket radio, and don't need to turn up the volume all the way to get as loud as I want it to be. Considering my car is 20 years old now, I don't see myself keeping it much longer, but having these speakers certainly helps me enjoy my daily 45 minute commute. I'm very satisfied with them.

I purchased these speakers to install in my 98 Saturn SL2. The stock speakers were still in good condition and sounded OK. I figured that anything would be better than the stock speakers and at $25.00, it was worth taking a chance. The OEM speakers are an odd size (6.75") so I did have to drill four holes, which wasn't a big deal. I spliced the wiring instead of doing a re-wire job. As another reviewer said, the wire supplied with the speakers are thin. I ended up exposing twice the length of wire than I normally would and doubling it up to give the butt connector more to crimp on to. After installing one side, I played some music to compare the speakers. What a difference! The highs were much improved. The voices were clearer, cymbals were more distinct, and on acoustical music you could really hear the sound of the fingers as they slid across the guitar strings. I'm more of a "highs" person so these speakers fit the bill perfectly. I'm older now and don't need the bass to rattle the fillings in my teeth. Even so, the bass response of the Pyle was more than a pleasant surprise. There was some added "thump." I have a habit of checking the rear view mirror when I'm at a stop. I noticed that it was vibrating to the bass of Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise." When I checked the side view mirrors, they were vibrating also. This never happened with the stock speakers, no matter how loud I played the music. (I'm using just a Sony CDXGT340 head unit rated at 208 watts with no external amplifier.) I don't play the music loud all the time, but I do crank it up every so often when volume adds to the listening experience, such as with Black Sabbath, Van Halen, for example. I haven't noticed any distortion and the speakers have held up so far. Even though I wasn't expecting much from these speakers, they've greatly exceeded my expectations and were a nice surprise. In fact, I just ordered another set for the rear! Comparable name brand speakers cost $80.00-100.00 here locally. At $25.00, these speakers are a great bargain and well worth the price.

These are garbage! I dont know what these people are thinking giving 5 stars and saying they are great. These are the worst that you can get. I thought I would give them a try after seeing what most people said about them. These sound worse than the stock speakers in my truck did. They can not handle any amount of bass without sounding distorted even on -7 the lowest the bass can go. I left one stock speaker hooked up after I installed one of these and there was no comparison, these didn't even produce the vocal sounds very well. Bottom line these are trash and I wish I had not wasted my money and time. I would have been better off throwing a 20 dollar bill out the window on the highway. I took these back out and they are sitting in a closet. I am now looking for some decent speakers to put in my truck after putting the stock ones back in. I am going to give these away to someone that needs to replace their speakers but can't afford new ones. Don't buy these unless you absolutly can not spend any more money than this. My advice is to wait until you can afford some good ones becuase these are GARBAGE!! and you will not be happy with them. I will give props to amazon for getting them there in 2 days. That was the only reason these even got 1 star from me.

Habe diese Lautsprecher eigentlich für das Auto meines Sohnes gekauft , da keine Radio verbaut war, soweit sogar. Radio eingebaut , anschließend in den Vordertüren ein Paar Lautsprecher von Crunch , ebenfalls alles ok. Aber es klang mit nur zwei Lautsprecher etwas Gewöhnung bedürftig, also diese für die hinteren Türen gekauft, verbaut Kabel gelegt natürlich nicht die Kabel , die im set dabei waren , alles angeschlossen , fader mal nach hinten gesetzt am Radio und siehe da , sie klingen wesentlich besser als die vorne verbauten von crunch , sauberer klang , leichten Bass in der Rückenlehne ist zu spüren , also für eine selbst gebaute möchte Serien Anlage , nur zu empfehlen
