I'd never seen these before until last week; my daughter's boyfriend had a similar one lying on the table. What a neat little gadget! These are so versatile, and PERFECT for autistic kids. My grandson loves it, he uses it all over. His head, face, neck, his arms, his back, inside his mouth-yeah I shut that down real quick. And he loves it even more when I use it to scratch his back. Dogs and cats? At first they were like what the heck is that....then they fell in love with it within seconds. Perfect also if you have shoulder issues and can't reach your back to scratch easily (I've been using my scissors). It's a gentle scratch, and it works. It's perfect directly on skin, through a tshirt, was still ok with a tshirt and flannel on as well. I almost didn't get this one with some of the reviews saying when they opened it to full length, it was flimsy and what not. Granted, I haven't tested every one in the pack, but so far 4 out of the 6 have been 100% fine. They don't feel flimsy at all, quite the opposite. I don't know the inches it opens up to, but it opens up pretty long. And, this 6 pack was cheaper than other options I saw, and they all look the same. They are made of metal, aluminum or stainless steel, not sure and they're lightweight. Great gift idea as well as keeping them stashed around in various places as needed-like reading glasses.

These backscratchers are very well made. Very sturdy. They slide to longer length which makes scratching one’s back very easy. I like the different colors. Will put one in suitcase for travel. Everyone needs a backscratcher. The price on these was very good. The quality is good. They work perfectly. I will probably give some away.

Love the 6 pack because it's great to have one in several places. They seem pretty well made and the scratchy end is not too sharp. Collapsible means it is easy to stash in a drawer and get just the right length you need.

I like that there were several different colors in the package. So everybody got one in their color. I use them as stocking stuffers this year. Even the dog got one! I like that you can extend them to whatever length you need. The pole part works really well. But sometimes when I go to scratch my back, the scratcher part has turned itself around. That's a little odd. I don't know that the average person would need this item to be portable, but it certainly could be.

I knew, the materials were probably not the best quality. But for the price, I thought I'd try them. They failed as backscratchers. BUT, my son suggested I use these to pull things to me. They extend to nearly a yard (a bit hard initially to extend them as they need a bit of DW40. I have grippers, but I still spend more time breaking & dropping things than getting them into my hands. Surprisingly, my son grabbed one of these, extended it & used it to pull something closer on a shelf...and they work great. Also for getting smaller things off the floor (including pills!). While the are not the sturdiest despite being made of metal, it is a very bendable. Unfortunately, I couldn't get them to bend or my arm to contort to where they could scratch that itch. I probably wouldn't buy them as a back scratcher. BUT, they are an awesome aid for pulling smaller things that my grippers just con't accomplish. Especially a kleenex or pill that rolls under the bed~

I was so pleasantly surprised when I got these back scratchers, they are so nice. I was only expecting to get ONE back scratcher so I was excited to see that there was 6 of them in the package and all different colours. They are very sturdy and you can adjust them quickly to the length you want. When it is at its longest I was expecting the scratcher to be wobbly but it still is very sturdy and stable. The claw is not sharp so you can press hard when scratching. My husband was so happy to have his own scratcher as I gifted the black one to him. He is using it constantly now and loves it. I chose the pink one for myself and have the green one for us to use when we are outside on the deck. We are both senior citizens with stiff arms and suffering from itchy backs for some reason and now we don't have to ask the other one to do the scratching as we have lots of them to do the job for us.
