This little product is AMAZING! I just used it to clean a 125 gallon tank and can’t wait to use it on my smaller tanks. The suction tube is plenty long to reach all over in the ‘hard to reach’ spots. The suction power is perfect. It pulls out the dirty water and debris but doesn’t take your substrate with it. It pulls the substrate about half way up the tube and swirls it around giving it a good cleaning and then let’s it go slowly back into the tank. I love the clear suction tube because you can watch all that filth being pulled from the tank, yet its not sucking out tons of extra water. It was easy to use and really did the job! I would highly recommend this. You can’t get a better product for such a decent price!!

PERFECT!!! For the price you can’t beat it!! I was worried about buying this as it was fairly inexpensive and I had seen similar products online that had bad reviews, after combing through reviews and videos I decided to give this one a shot. Definitely not disappointed it works great! It seems to be great quality for the price, assembly was simple, and does its intended purpose. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for an aquarium gravel vacuum but don’t want to spend money on anything fancy!

Thought i'd give it a shot because i do a ton of water changes for my Oscar tank. It made the job easier and cleaner. I don't know if i Just got a good one, but it only takes maybe a few rapid pumps to get it flowing. I read some reviews saying it was a hassle to get started but i had no issues. The only part that i did not like in some ways was the small filter they put at the top. I know it can keep gravel or something from being drug out. But my fish is MESSY so it clogs sometimes and i have to either press the button to force water or start the process over to get the flow back. I'd rather it just be a straight flow to get all the nasty out. Not a perfect product but man did it make my job easier cleaning. I'd at least give it a shot and see if you enjoy it like i did. Four stars due to it not being PERFECT but overall a great buy.

I've been using another one that uses a short plastic tube with a 3" diameter and I always disliked having to reach my whole arm in 55g tall just to reach the bottom! It finally broke after 10 years of use so I could justify buying a new one! I bought this one and I absolutely love it. It's so easy. I just put both tubes together, touch it to the bottom of the tank (24") and pump only 4-5 pumps and starts! I pushed the tip down into the substrate and pulled the ditritus out right away. I had to shake the substrate out of the bottom inch of the tube only twice! I love that it doesn't pull a lot of water out so I can actually clean the whole substrate during one cleaning! The other one pulled water out so fast that I was never able to clean the whole bottom at one time. I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon! I would highly recommend this! I am so pleased with it and I don't have to put my hands in the aquarium which is a lot healthier for my 8 year old Angels! Don't hesitate to get this!

Bought this for my mom's 55 gallon fish aquarium. Bought it in May. We used it in July and it did a good cleaning of the tank. Now the bad part, went to use it a second time and the suction is very poor ! Twice we made sure it was all connected and fitted securely together and still couldn't get good suction out of the tank. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone as it's not dependable Going back to the old school way of using GRAVEL TUBE / SIPHON BALL . This always did a good job. Just Thought we would try something different when we replaced our last gravel tube . We weren't lucky with us at all, into the trashcan it goes

We have tried this aquarium vacuum system for the first time yesterday and it worked for the removing of 25% water out of tank also removed all nasty things in the gravel - it’s easy to use with a basic knowledge- wondering if the seller or users can provide here a video with more information cause the seller’s instructions and drawing are not accurate at least for the item I got and I can’t figured out all the parts just the basic thing cause it’s common sense but I don’t know much about these item. Is there any video showing us how to use all its parts and their functions ? Will update later on. The device to clean the aquarium gravel and helping changing waters was great easy to do the job for many months. Dec. 4, 2024 time flies, right? It’s been more than a year that I purchased this aquarium bacc cleaner -usually I am cleaning my aquarium once a month and this item worked for a while -the bad news is that this aquarium vacuum has stopped working-and “I don’t know what’s going on. It’s not pumping water at all neither cleansing gravel -as if there is no air suction the water is not going through the tube anymore. Does anybody know how to fix this issue? A video or a comment about resolving this issue will be much appreciate it thanks.

I have used many devices to remove aquarium water over 20+ years but this is the absolute best! It is a very smart and simple design! It is SO easy to use to get the water flowing and the accessories included are just what is needed to get the job done well. The tubing, which isn't stiff or hard to work with, is the right type needed for water removal and the clip that holds it securely to the bucket is just so helpful!! I can't say enough good things. I wish I'd had this many years ago!!!!

I don't how many water swaps have been done using the next-door neighbors suction power to clean out the rocks and syphon water with a 7-11 Slurpee straw. Looks Like I can save that $20 month cleaning fee she's been charging me for servicing my fish tank. I will say that there is much more tubing than I anticipated. I was able to run the syphon hose from the office in the back of my house, down the hall, through the kitchen, past the laundry room, into the garage, and out the main garage door, and connected to the Urinating Garden Gnome (that's a different review) I have the hose connected to, so he can water the front yard flower bed with this nutrient rich fishy, shrimpy, snaily concoction. I don't know why I never ordered this before. It's cost savings and the front flowers have never looked better! The kit comes with everything one could wish for! It comes with an extra-long syphon hose, tubing long enough that I can stand comfortably on top of the filing cabinet next to the tank while I clean/strain the rocks. The suction button and handle provide added entertainment when not cleaning the fish tank. It has been deployed to successfully leave hickies on unsuspecting passed out drunkards at the local drinking hole, as well as baste a turkey. Needless to say, this aquarium cleaning kit does what it's advertised to do and so much more! I say buy one! You won't regret it! With a little bit of imagination, you could do anything with it.

Well I can honestly say this product is excellent. I had to buy an extra long one for my high tank and was very skeptical about how well this would suck up the dirt. You press the concertina button a few times to suck up the water and once the water is in your bucket it does just carry on coming out and it does what it says on the tin! So pleased with it. Quite fast suck so I would say be very careful or not ideal for use on smaller tanks. Love it. Genuine good product

I purchased this product as I wanted a gravel cleaner that had a "pump" feature. It also comes with a long tube which helps has my tank is tall. The tube has a great attachment which allows you to "shrink" the opening. This is ideal if you want to pinpoint an area to clean. My fish recently bred so I needed something that I could gain more control over. This was a perfect option. The tube also has a screen at the top so larger items or fish wont get sucked up! The pump works great, the suction is very fast. Would definitely recommend!
