Book is good, there is already underlining and highlighting. Not a problem since it’s a rental but heads up for future if someone needed an unmarked copy.

Subtracting a star for the lack of insight on indigenous religions. It is harder to go in depth but can give better understanding into the development of religion. Perhaps this is for a different textbook. The other chapters have such depth, however, and it is sad for it to end, so to speak.

This book is a great supplement to any world religions class. While the material may not quite be worth the price, the book is good quality. The sections are divided into easy-to-understand material that touches on key points in modern religions.Definitely a great supplement to classes, but there are cheaper options for casual learning.

Amazon is proud of the Kindle edition of this book, and I have no idea why. I would like to read it on my laptop, as it says in the description that it is available for all platforms, but when I try it tells me it can only be read via a Kindle app on a mobile device.Now that I see they've released a Kindle Fire app for PCs, I'll try that tonight and see if it's any better.

Book was a literal mess. Writing all in it and all ripped up and a mess.! I didn’t even use it all semester.

Came in timely manner and was the appropriate item I had expected
