**Q: Macally website as dimensions for Icekey2 as 18.19x1x6.5. Amazon website shows 8.5x18.7x2. Whats the correct number?**
A: I wonder if the Amazon numbers are shipped size, perhaps. The actual keyboard is a bit over 18" wide and roughly 6.5" deep. Less than an inch thick.It's a nice keyboard with a small size, but fully functional. The only issue is that the F-Keys are not really functional as MacAlly did something weird with them that requires a driver, but they do not support newer Mac OS X releases. It works fine under 10.9.1 (which I am writing this reply under) but there is no way to use the special functions on the F-Keys or just make them work as normal F-Keys except by using the Fn key.

**Q: Can I plug this into usb 3.0 port?**
A: It should work with USB 3

**Q: Will this work on an iMac just upgraded to Yosemite?**
A: Yes, I've upgraded an iMac to Yosemite and this keyboard works just fine!

**Q: Does it work with MacBook Pro 15 inch?**
A: Mine is 13 inch, but I wouldn't expect any significant difference. Works fine

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best small Mac keyboard to go "battery free"

In recent years, I've used many Mac keyboards -- Apple, Logitech solar-powered, Logitech rechargeable, and several wired keyboards with a keypad. All of them sooner or later left me frustrated. Logitech's batteries wear down in a matter of months. The solar keyboard is no longer really available (except on the secondary market). And I just got tired of the "your keyboard has died, change the batteries again" routine. Unfortunately I could never really find a suitable wired replacement, until I tried this keyboard. While it's not perfect, and it felt a little "clacky" when I first started using it, it is nevertheless the best solution if you don't want a full-sized keyboard with keypad crowding your desktop. Pros: * Wired (for me this is a plus) - no more batteries! * Same approximate size, shape, and styling of Apple's official keyboard * Performs reasonably as expected. * No more wrestling with finicky wireless connections or batteries * Price still seems high for machine-molded plastic and some minor electronics, but it's cheaper than competitors. Cons: * Feels a little cheap when you type at first... a little "clickety-clackety" * Keys and typing action are not as nice as Macally's larger keyboards * There is a bright, unnecessary power light at the top of the keyboard. It's distracting, so I taped over it. * Plastic feels sturdy, but cheap Macally also makes a great, low-priced silent wired mouse that is also excellent. Overall I give this keyboard a positive rating because it's the best solution I've found to solve the "stop using batteries" problem. A better keyboard could still be made, but since Apple discontinued their wired products we are left to search for third party providers. All things considered Macally did a credible job of providing a replacement.
