Great vanes that work!
Good vanes they don't disappoint. These are known for surviving whisker biscuit arrow rests better than any other vanes on the market. Easy to use and great colors too. I use them on all of my arrows for practice and hunting. Ive been known to buy the cheap arrows and replace the vanes just to make them better. Building your own functioning arrows is a enjoyable part of learning archery. You can use these vanes to make a well balanced fast arrow to shoot flatter, faster, hit harder with a field tip or a broadhead.

Great fletchings
Easy to install with the right jig. Great quality as expected from blazers. Great black look for blacked out arrows. Grouping accurately out to 50 yards. Best bang for the buck

Very Easy to Install
The plastic fletching on my old arrows had gotten old and brittle, and although I still had some that shot true, the fletching was more and more breaking up and falling off the arrows, and I was down to only three that were usable for this deer season. I had to do something to fix all my bare arrows. I had been shying away from trying to install new fletching myself, mainly because I didn't want to spend the $40-$60 for a fletching jig, which I thought I had to use. Yes, I'm quite cheap! I finally bought a bottle of the Bohning Fletching glue that I saw at Walmart (also available at Amazon), but I thought their fletching prices were ridiculously high. That's when I found these Bohning vanes on Amazon, and got a pack of 100 for a great price. When they came in, I carefully trimmed off what was left of the old fletching from one of my unusable arrows with a razor blade and glued on these vanes by hand, with no jig. The Bohning glue appears to be a form of super-glue, so I only had to hold the vane in pace for a few seconds to get it to be stuck on the arrow, and I quickly had one done. This turned out to be so easy that I gathered up the rest of my bare arrows, and had them all back to good working order in about a half hour. They seem to shoot okay, and I'm pretty sure my fletching problems are over. Bohning has great products and really good prices, and I highly recommend using them.

Bright Orange but they don't glow under a blacklight.
They work like every other Bohning vane I ever used. The only problem is they don't glow under a blacklight for tecno hunts.

Better than they look
At first, these looked extremely small. I came from three-inch feathers to these Blazer vanes. I thought my feathers were the best of the best. They could fold which means they wouldn't get destroyed easily, they could be put back into position when flattened, and they had a helical to spin the arrow and control the broadhead/practice tip. The only other vanes I've used were flimsy three-inch plastic vanes, which could rip easily, get messed up, and sometimes ended up sideways because it couldn't control the tip. I was very hesitant when I fletched these into my carbon arrows. I thought that their performance would disappoint me. I got four identical carbon arrows, same weight, -/+.006 straightness. Two were feather fletched, two were Blazer fletched. One of each group had a Toxic broadhead, and the other ones had two blade broadheads. The two blades were not straight in the ferrule. I went outside and shot into cardboard with the Black Hole target behind it. The Blazer vaned two blade flew straight and left a clean line in the cardboard, penetrating the Black Hole target about six inches. The feathered two bladed performed the same way. I shot the Blazer toxic into the target and it flew straight with a clean mark. Same with the feathers. The MOST surprising out of this shooting was that the Blazer vanes didn't FOLD to go through the cardboard. It actually punched through the cardboard, leaving three thin lines from the vanes and STILL flew straight. The feathers folded and came up without any troubles. These were the equivalent of my feathers for half the price! I'm definitely switching over to Blazers soon. Bow: Oneida Kestrel IBO: 310 Rest: QuikTune 800 Arrow: Spined at 400 weighed at 500 grains Pros: Plastic, won't flatten when wet Durable, doesn't fold like flimsy vanes Helical compatible, can be set at a right helical like my feathers Cheaper than feathers for the equivalent Cons: Absolutely none
