I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I felt I had to for this product because it far exceeded my expectations! The BAOBAB WORKSHOP Wood Floating Shelves are simply beautiful — from the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a high-quality product. The packaging alone was impressive — everything was secure, neatly organized, and protected with care. The shelves themselves are incredibly well made — solid wood, rich color (the dark walnut is gorgeous), and smooth, flawless finishes. You can tell real craftsmanship went into these. Installation was a breeze! The directions were clear and easy to follow, and everything I needed was included. I had them up on the wall in no time, and they look absolutely stunning in my space. These shelves instantly elevated the look of my room — they’re sturdy, stylish, and have that perfect rustic charm. Honestly, they look and feel like something that costs twice as much. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate — these shelves are worth every penny. I’m already thinking about ordering another set for a different room!

I’m not usually moved to write reviews, but these shelves absolutely deserve it. These days it feels like so many products are cheaply made, so when I come across something this well done, I have to say something. I installed this set in our bathroom and they look fantastic – warm, solid, and high-end instead of the flimsy “fake wood” look you see everywhere. Solid wood really makes a difference; the grain and finish give the whole room an upgraded, custom feel. The packaging was the first sign that this company cares. Everything was wrapped and protected so well that it honestly felt like opening a carefully prepared gift, not just another random Amazon box. You can tell they take pride in their product. Installation was straightforward. The instructions are clear, simple, and easy to follow, even if you’re not especially handy. I had them up and level in no time with no confusion or guesswork. I love love love these shelves. The quality of the shelves are great. They're smooth and strong. The handwritten note in each box is very touching it makes you appreciate supporting a small business. Installing my first set was a little tricky, but installing the second set was a breeze since I was used to them now. Only downside was that my studs were not spaced in a way that both sides of the shelf could be screwed in the stud. So for one set (the brown ones) I used drywall anchors on the left sides (also the drywall anchors included in the box were no good for me so I had to purchase my own), and for another set (the black ones) I also added my own support bracket in the stud for support. They're very stylish and when installed correctly are very strong. I truly recommend stud installation if feasible!

These shelves are great. They were very easy to install and look amazing.

We, unfortunately had to return the shelf we bought but that was not the fault of the manufacturer. We just miscalculated the color & size we needed. The shelf was very sturdy and attractive. I would recommend these folks.

Mounting is extremely easy and the bolts that come with it make minor adjustments quite convenient. Packaging and accessories included were solid. Product quality is mostly good and serves the purpose, with one exception: one of the two shelves had a blue discoloration running down the center of it. On closer inspection, this also revealed cracking of the wood that went about 50% of the way through the plank. I'm not sure if this is a mere Quality Assurance oversight or if it was intentionally covered with the white stain used to color the shelf, but it is concerning that the structural integrity of this shelf may not meet the weight specifications set forth in the product description.

First Amazon review but I had say how happy I was with this product. Blown away by the exceptional quality of these beautiful shelves. Very simple to install with a great guide and easy to follow video as well if you're so inclined. These are SOLID. The craftsmanship is top notch. Easy to install and the wood grain is gorgeous. Can't say enough good things, was very pleasantly surprised. Will be a repeat customer.

Just look at the photos to see if this is really a quality European product or not. Very bad finish. The listing says you get smart brackets but you will get low quality angle brackets screwed in to the wood. The listing says you will get 24 x 6.7 inch but you actually get 16 x 5.5 inch. Do not fall for the reviews. Just compare the photos in the listing with the one's I have uploaded. This has been an absolute waste of time. I can't understand when will sellers grow to become more mature in making long term customers rather than breaking trust through sneaky ways.

Just installed the 4 planks(all 16 inch) today on a brick wall. Careful markings are required but otherwise installation is not difficult(package came with clear install instructions). Strange that only the 16" set sold without delivery charge, otherwise would have bought 1x16" and another 1x24" set. The amazing thing is that each set came with an envelop, and in it, a hand-written thank you note, and for the 2 sets I bought, 2 different hand-written notes! Amazing - the first in online purchase. Great feeling to read how they feel about their products!
