I ordered this cool bumper from Amazon warehouse at small discount I guess someone returned this unit but in working order. The cool thing is that this hitch bumper has a LED stop light on back of it just for an extra security keeping the drivers behind me little more alert. The installation normally would be very straight forward, but in my case my wiring was all rusted so some modification was necessary. As for the Hitch Bumper itself, it looks and works great. It allows me to stand on it in case I need to put luggage on the roof of my car etc. The hitch in my Rav4 is 1 1/4" but the hitch came with a very nice looking hard plastic sleeve to accommodate the 2" hitches which I had to have on my car. It's just makes the whole gadget little more complete. I was able to cut the sleeve to fit onto the hitch itself making the appearance little thicker and more sturdy. One problem though I had was with the led lights. The LED lights streap was little loose and the top part of the led light had a small gap possibly allowing the water eventually to get in. This is where I had to use little silicone paste to get this clogged up just in case. Still 5 stars as I got thi thing at little discount. Overall good looking unit making the old Rav4 look little better. Definitely good buy so far.

I ordered this with standard free 'several day' shipping and was shocked that it was delivered the very next day. The photo does not do this item justice. It's awesome. I have no problem with the 'plastic' insert, as another reviewer complained about, since it's only a spacer which is placed inside your metal hitch .. so no issue there. It looks great and is comforting to know that I can now easily access my roof for my kayak, I have additional braking and turning signal lights and I've got some room for someone to tap my bumper before doing any damage. It's well made that the cost is baffling. I can pay $20 just for a decorative hitch cap that serves no real purpose.

I love the bit of added protection it provides to the back of Mrs. A's Jeep from getting too close. The brake light is a nice feature, not sure being this low, how much added visuality it provides to vehicle behind - SPA007

I purchased this as a replacement Christmas Gift this past 2016 Holiday season, for my Hubby, for our truck "Faith". The first step I got for him, was a whole different type, not as attractive and didn't work for our truck, because it only fit a "standard" 2-inches hitch receiver. And even though I bought an adapter for the original step....then the step stuck out too far off the back of the truck! Our truck (Ford Explorer SportTrac) has the smaller 1 1/4-Inch hitch receiver. So researching online, I came across the "Bully CR-605L" Chrome Hitch Step, which first off, was "WAY COOLER DESIGN OVERALL", than the plain rectangle other step. My Husband was "elated" to see the difference in styling, the LED lights which work amazing, and the fact that "IT IS MANUFACTURED TO FIT "BOTH" SIZE HITCH RECEIVERS"!!!! You just remove the larger 2" overlay adapter sleeve, to use the 1 1/4" Hitch Receiver insert. Do Not toss the 2" overlay adapter sleeve in the garbage...you might want to switch your step if you get another truck later! The Black and Chrome with the Lights just fit the overall Truck's appearance much better...especially since it matched the running boards we had just had installed, a few months prior. NOTE: You have to purchase the Hitch Pin separately, for which appropriate size Hitch Receiver you are using to put it on your Truck (or Van).

The product looks good, works very good as a step and for peace of mind when parking as it would help protecting the rear bumper from those bad drivers that like hitting cars while parking. The lights are very low quality and not worth the extra cost. The one I ordered came with half of the lights broken and I immediately contacted Amazon about it, they gave me the support information from the manufacturer and it's been a week with no response. I definitely won't recommend this with such a bad post-sale support and the lights are very dim and low quality. There's barely any difference in brightness between the lights on and when using the brake, same with hazard lights or turn signals. It's a single strip of LEDs and all of them light or blink at the same time (can't tell the difference if you have the left or right turn signals, but it doesn't matter as half of my lights where bad anyway). I could count a total of 7 LEDs in the strip and they came bad from factory (never got them wet before installing, I installed them in about 5mins). I really wanted to give them a chance but definitely not worth it for such a los quality product and the bad support they have. I'll return and look for a different product. I'm looking for a functional device that adds protection and with good lights to be seen at night even during a storm, fog, or snow, this is definitely not the product.

I have the version that has the LED brake light and highly recommend paying the extra $ for that feature if you have trailer wiring already installed on your vehicle. The added light is definitely a plus. I have one for a Land Rover LR2 and one for a a 2010 Suburban and both are excellent, but you do have to be a little careful as you handle the step with the 2" adapter as it is a plastic sleeve that fits over the class two steel mount. I only mention this as the sleeve slips on and off very easily, and with this said if you pick up the unit by the sleeve it could possible fall to the ground or your toe damaging your toe or scratching the finish on the unit. Other than that, this is a quality and reasonably priced part for the protection of your vehicle.

Fits properly and looks good

A great deal on a sweet piece of bling. Nice little step feature as well as additional lighting, both running and braking. I'm not sure what all the bellyaching is about as this is a quality piece at a better price point than anything else I've seen - both online or at bricks and mortar.

Too early yet to comment on durability ( hence 4 not 5 stars ) but it's the only 2 in 1 hitch step I could find ,looks good and does the job . Speedy delivery .
