Exceptional pans for the sale price--I've bought 3
I originally started out looking for the entire Chef's Classic nonstick hard anodized cookware set after a friend spent the Friday after Thanksgiving in line at Macy's to get the 17-piece set for $500 off. First of all, Amazon had the same set on sale for the same price without the hassle of a Black Friday excursion, which was fantastic! But when I looked at the set, it had many pieces I didn't need (pots and pans)--only my nonstick skillets were in need of replacement. I chose the Cuisinart because of the great sale price, the hard anondized exterior, the nonstick interior, and especially because they are broiler safe, a go/no go stipulation on nonstick from my husband, who makes the best omelettes and frittatas on the planet. We had both the 12-inch and the 8-inch frying pans for almost a month now and we're exceptionally pleased with them, they turn out THE BEST egg dishes without sticking, go straight to the oven for broiling without hassle, and clean up easy in the sink. The 12-inch pan came with a chef's pan handle on the opposite side of the regular handle and my husband really, really likes that -- it's a big pan and it makes it very easy to handle, esp. when full of hot food. True, you can't just toss them in the dishwasher but very few good nonstick pans will let you do that anyway. They also have a very nice weight to them and cook evenly. Loved the two we bought so much that in the last week I ordered the 10-inch pan to round out the bunch. Can't say enough good things about this cookware line.

Great little pan
Have had several frying pans through the years. Takes very little olive oil to fry. Doesn’t stick. And can be put in dishwasher. Or even oven to keep warm. Perfect size, easy to handle.,Light weight! Good price. Recommend it!

Good Non Stick 10" Skillet at a fair price
This review is not just a review for the Cuisinart 622-24 10" Non Stick Skillet I purchased on Amazon for $25.95, but also of the Cuisinart 10" Non Stick Skillet purchased from TJ Max that looks almost identical with part number 6622-24PP for $16.99 before tax. We've had an older 622-24 for several years now (over 5) and my wife wanted to get a new one because the old one had been scratched up enough that the non stick coating wasn't working as good as it once did, plus she just likes things that look new. I first went to TJ Max because sometimes you can get good stuff there for much less and found the pan that looked identical, but with a different part number on the pan. I wanted to see how different the cheaper pan from TJ Max was and bought it for comparison, but will be returning that pan because the one with part number 622-24 to me seems like a better pan and worth the extra $9. Just looking at them side by side you can't tell a difference, but when I weighed them the 622-24 pan purchased on Amazon was a little heavier. (34.53 oz versus 32.35 oz) The 622-24 seems like it is also just a smidge thicker when looking at them side by side. The main thing I noticed was the pan from Amazon has a label on the pan itself that says Quantanium which is supposed to be a premium coating so you can use metal utensils with the skillet. The one from TJ Max doesn't say that or has the sticker. The packaging sleeve with all the marketing material is similar and goes over all the same features, but have different presentations. The main Title difference is the 622-24 has "Chef's" in the title were the other does not which I'm assuming is because of the added Quantanium coating and reason the pan is a little over 2 oz more in weight. So now that you know that lets talk about the 622-24 pan performance. It has been a trusted skillet we've used for over 5 years and has impressed us enough to purchase another one to replace the one we use all the time nearly every day. I contemplated trying the new Ninja Cookware, but it is more money and figured I'd stay with what we know and what we've used for years so we don't have to change our cooking routines. We still use the old pan, but not for delicate items or items were we think it will be difficult to clean afterwards. The nonstick coating holds up well, but the pan will scratch over time despite the Quantanium marketing addition. The pan has a nice weight and look to it, but not as nice as other higher priced pans. Heat distribution is good too and will evenly cook an egg quickly and evenly. I do believe the cheaper pan from TJ Max will do just as good, but may not last as long. That is strictly my opinion though as I haven't cooked with it. I did want to add one more thing regarding my purchase on Amazon for the 622-24 pan I purchased. When it came in it had a scratch on the side rim of the non stick coating. Considering it will likley get a scratch like that in the future I decided to keep it instead of requesting a replacement, but did contact customer service and they were willing to give me a small discount on the pan because of the scratch which I am very appreciative of and also why I try to purchase everything from Amazon, because their customer service is really second to none in that respect. Well over 95% of the time they have met or went above my expectations with any issue I've ever had with anything. The key is to report it to them as quickly as possible. Hope this review helped someone and gave many the difference between the two pans because beforehand I couldn't find any info on the 6622-24PP skillet from TJ Max. Thanks!

Good skillet, uniform temperature distribution
This skillet is made out of aluminum, has about ~5 mm thick body which distributes heat uniformly, including walls. Compared to Cuisinart 722-24NS model (purchased together), this skillet is better for warming you food. However, it comes without cover, and this is a problem - how do you warm your food up without it? This skillet is good for frying as well, it is not sticky, and a small piece of oil will make you sure that you will be able to get your food from the skillet. Handle is pretty long and stays cold but, as for me, it is tooooo long, I have a problem to place the skillet into my dishwasher. Overall, it is a good skillet for casual usage.

The Absolute Best and Affordable
🌟🌟UPDATE 07-03-2020: My purchase of this saute skillet is approaching the 6-month mark . I feel compelled to share info and the last three photos to those of you contemplating buying this item . There's not a scratch or a mark of any kind on the inner surface or outer surface. No scorch or burn marks on the exterior. And I use this on average once a day! You be your own judge.🌟🌟 You can never go wrong with Cuisinart. I always find it a bit puzzling that most people shopping for an everyday skillet will just pick one up from their supermarket or drugstore. 10" skillet on average is $18 from these locales; you buy a poorly made skillet, manufactured from some unknown source, and begins wearing out with the first use, and have to replace within a year!? Why not spend an extra $12 and buy a skillet that is guaranteed to last, as long as you take good care of it, a lifetime!? This is the one to get! This is about my 20th Cuisinart piece and all of them look as new, a real pleasure to cook with, and I fully expect the same from this one! First dinner: Szechuan Beef!

My favorite “omelette pan” !
Works well for omelettes. Holds up, use silicone spatulas. No metal utensils !

Best inexpensive non-stick I've used
I did a lot of research before buying this pan back in 2007. It was rated as the best non-stick frying pan by Cooks Illustrated and was better than some other pans at twice the price. I love this pan so much, I have two of them now. The rivets have changed (smaller and different material) since I bought the first pan, but I can't say that it seems to make any difference. The 10" pan is a good size for cooking many things and the shape makes it easy to flip without utensils. The anodized material heats evenly, is just the right thickness and isn't too heavy. Handles and rivets are still in perfect shape and there's been no warping or peeling. Despite the claim that you can use metal utensils on this pan, I have never used metal or wooden utensils and only use a silicone spoon to avoid scratching it. I also have the Multiclad stainless 10" pan without any nonstick for those times I know I'll be using metal utensils. A couple years ago, I dropped a heavy pan onto the non-stick surface and it dented the surface, but even with the dent, it still hasn't flaked off or lost it's non-stick properties. I use a non-stick safe sponge to clean it and have never put this in the dishwasher. When the bottom of the pan or the area around the handle gets dirty, I use Barkeeper's Friend and a green scouring pad to clean these areas, but only these areas. I even use thin sheets of foam material to keep the pans from scratching one another when I stack and store them. In other words, I take very good care of them. I have a gas stove and usually cook at a fairly high heat setting. However, my gas stove doesn't get nearly as hot as some electric stoves and perhaps that's why my pans have lasted over 5 years now and still look almost brand new. Check out the image I posted of my used pans. I suspect that those people who've given this pan poor reviews because it loses it's non-stick or had it start flaking off have heated the pan way too hot. I know I've ruin a couple of non-stick pans, including an All-Clad, by doing that. If you don't overheat this pan and take reasonably good care of it, it should last you many many years.

Coating wears off very quickly and is toxic
Wouldn’t recommend. Took good care of it but it still is ready for the trash bin two years later. Invest in a better product instead.
