I had my doubts about spening that kind of money for something like this, but it was totally worth it. It seems pretty straight, the mechanism looks well made, it's so easy to use. And, it clamps very well. My only complaint might be that you need to disassemble it to clean it when you get it and that was a little difficult for me. Maybe if I were stonger or something it'd be ok, but I'm not. Anyway, get a towel or rag to help hold the end of the thing when you take it apart since the edge is kind of sharp. I've only used the 24 inch one so far, but I'm sure the others are ok too..

Easy to use, clamps tight, perfect cuts! Should have invested in these a long time ago.

It clamps very well even with the clamp lever in the horizontal position. It worked very well in places with already mounted fixture with little space to lower lever. It feels sturdy. The one flaw I see is that the black release tabs on the side stick out and get in the way of the saw blade. So, I have to be more careful of where the circular saw blade will drop onto. Fix that issue, and it is a solid 5 stars.

Been using these guides for awhile now and am very happy with them. Easy to setup and have had no issues with the holding power while making a cut. Just ordered the 100inch version.

Worked as expected. Rails clamped well and held during the cut. Good quality. Expect to have and use for years to come.

I have some older guide clamps that are basically garbage. They require extra clamps to hold them in place and have metal clamping impediments in the way of a saw. I got sick of that nonsense. Nothing sucks more than a guide clamp "wandering" in the middle of a cut on a $350 door. This clamp set is extraordinarily well made, has aggressive clamping force, does not leave marks, even in yellow pine. This set arrives just In time for a job I had where in had to install 6 heavy, solid core prehung doors. That included close tolerance cut lines on 6 panel solid core yellow pine doors and these clamps delivered big time. The photo shows the Pro Grip edge clamp on the left hand side. The yellow arrow shows the locking handle and as you can see, when you flip it down to lock, it’s out of the way. There is also a very handy tape measure on the top of the ProGrip model. My older models I bought years ago on the right side show that the locking handle, indicated with the black arrow, blocks the board if you are making a cut. It’s an annoying set up - the Pro Grip are a HUGE improvement! Hope this helps!
